Anyone who would believe that an ad placed in a newspaper "proves" the legitimacy of a suspicious enterprise should consider having a younger family member handle their financial and legal affairs.

Well i guess i am one of the few people who had a surprisingly good experience with Tyler and Morgan. I received a call today from Trey Harris who told me that my creditor who is also my mortgage company was looking to file a judgment against me i requested reasonable payments and he actually agreed to them! The difference between him and the other people who called me was he treated me like a human being! and thats all i wanted to be treated with some respect.

I received a phone call from tyler and morgan co looking for my ex-husband, who used me as a reference number in 2007. If they did any research, we have been divorced for three years. No! I do not have a contact number, and I do not want one! Thats why they are called EX'S!

Message left from a Monica MArtin saying she was an investigator for Tyler and Morgan and I need to contact her immediately. she then called my work and told the receptionist that she needed to talk to me urgently before she called and spoke to my supervisor or human resource. When she left message she never stated what it was in reference to or what the matter was about. No reputable "law firm" would not let you know what the matter was about or call without contacting by mail. I have contacted my own attorney and will handle this matter with his assist if needed.

Does anyone have a mailing address for this company? I checked Fair Debt Act and found about 5 regulations this company has broken and I have only spoken with them twice. I need to mail a letter to them to deny the debt, but the refused to give it to me. Lady posed as an attorney.

I just got a call from them saying they needed to speak to someone my husband dated 20 years ago..I called them and she said that she had listed him on something saying who to contact...I thought something was very weird about that....I mean if the matter is that old who would be pressing a claim as she called it.

I received a missed call from (800) 306-4817. Then i had a voicemail, but they did not leave a message. So i called back thinking it was for something totally different of an order I had placed. So i ALWAYS call back numbers I don't know, call blocked. So i pushed (*67) to call them to sneak up & see who was calling. It said Tyler & Morgan recording. So i just said this obviously is a wrong number. But i decided to google it & then it said it's a law firm. But from what I've read of all the complaints, it's a fradulent debt collector agency or something. BOTTOM LINE, i never answer 800 numbers or numbers that I don't recognize. If they are not programmed in my phone, chances are I don't need to know who they are or care. And they will leave me a message if it's important. I've been getting alot of these calls from 800 numbers and people i don't know. It's really getting annoying...I thought there was a number you can call to block it to your cell phone? Well, glad i was able to read other people's postings...thanks for the heads up! :)

Whoever this is called my mothers' house saying that this was a very important phone call and my husband and I needed to call back and talk to Monica Martin  as soon as possible.

i got a call from them stating that they are representing cashnet usa. A payday loan company on the internet. the loan is for $150 but they threatened me that if i dont pay it back, it is the last step before they take me to court. What they were saying to me really scared me. But then I am questioning why they would take me to court for only $150. I live out in hawaii and they are in florid. Can they really do that. I think they told me that they were a law firm. and they will take me to court and I will have to pay a fee for court costs. Please help.

A man named John Baxter called me from this company, Tyler and Morgan and left me the call back # 1-866-435-7024 ext 304 stating that I had a very important matter to discuss with him. When I called back I asked for him by name and before he confirmed he ask "may I ask who is speaking?". Actually he didnt even really confirm that it was him. He said that I had an account with a creditor that I didnt pay off and that now they were seeking legal action against me. I have dealt with the company he mentioned but do not owe them anything to my knowledge. When I began to ask why I hadnt received anything from that company, and could he send me information to verify what he was claiming he asked to put me on hold. When the line picked back up a lady was on the line asking could she help me. I told her I was on hold with a man and Im not sure why I was transfered, She already had my name and began to be very aggressive asking how i planned on taking care of my debt before the proccessed a lawsuit against me. Everytime I tried to talk she ran over me with legal words, and asked if I knew the law and what was pending against me. She said that in order for me to even recieve an email describing the charges against me that I would have to secure a settlement payment with them for $650.00, which i DID NOT do. I told her that I needed proof in my hands before I would release more info to them then they already had. She said that she would email something today but that if I didnt pay them the $650.00 by this friday that they would file with my county a lawsuit for the full $1350.00. I tried to get her name but she wouldnt give it to me. She said when I called back that I could speak to Mr. Baxter who I spoke to in the begining. And everytime I asked her to let me speak and ask questions, she said she didnt have time to hear my excuses cause she had meeting all day that she needed to get to, and that apparently I didnt have anything she wanted to hear anyways because I didnt want to take care of a debt that I was adult enough to be responsible for. Needless to say I ended up hanging up on her. Now though this whole situation seems beyond ridiculous, she did make me nervous with all the legal talk. Im in my early 20's and I dont want to pass this off as nosense and it actualy be something that could really end up hurting me. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. What should I do from here?.....

Well, my daughter unfortunately had the same experience with these people on the 4th of November. Same message implying they're a law firm, they had to speak to her or a decision was going to be made against her, etc. Fortunately, she called me and I came over (I'm an attorney) and we called them back but I didn't identify myself as one but acted as her husband. Used a speaker phone and taped the conversation as well as taped and saved the original message on the answering machine. They are definitely in violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collections and Practices Act (1978) (Google it) as well as subsequent state laws here in PA. When I directly asked "Mana Vega" (ext. 307)if she was an attorney and are they a law firm she avoided the answer and said she was calling to inform me that a "petition" had been filed in her office against my daughter.(used her name). I repeated my question asking for the name of an attorney in her office licensed to practice in PA and to give me their Attorney ID # at which point she put me on hold. Another person came on the line who I presume was Vega's supervisor at which point I repeated my questions. He then said they weren't a law firm but a "Mediation" firm. So I said in other words you're a collection agency masquerading as a law firm. He then said with a great deal of sarcasm "Do you know what mediation means?" at which point I stated I do and gave him a brief education of the law. And said goodbye and hung up. We'll have transcripts made of the tapes, wait a week and see if they call again and also see if they send the 5 day letter identifying the debt and who they are that's required of them under the FDCPA 1978 and either way send what we have to the attorney general's offices in PA and FL with a formal complaint. Please check th e FDCPA. You have rights and they're broadly violating them.

marie from this company.  Called my relatives, and friend stating I used their name to fraudulantly get a pay day loan. Then told me I would loose my drivers license if I didnt give her a credit card No or a bank account no. All of my people were steaming Marie than 3 way called these people with me on the line stating she was just collecting a debt. She broke all HIPPa and Patriot Act laws,giving my social & all. These type of collection agencies need to be stopped with their AlQueda terriorism.

Someone from Tyler and Morgan called my mom's house yesterday asking for me. She said that the message on the answering machine stated that I was being taken to court for an unpayed debt. I got the same phone call later in the day at my house. I called the number given (866-435-7024) and spoke to the person who called me (David Carpenter ext. 334).

He said that my account had to do with an old Best Buy credit card I had a few years ago. I called Best Buy Credit Services and they told me that my account went to Olifant (not sure of exact spelling), some sort of collection agency; ph# 800-262-1999.

Olifant told me they "sold" my account to ANOTHER company called Absolute Resolutions (ph# 800-713-0670).

Absolute Resolutions told me that my account was now being handled by "a very reputable company"; Tyler and Morgan. Imagine my surprise! When I began to question the [***] I spoke to at Absolute Resolutions, he began to get very defensive when I brought up all of the allegations against Tyler and Morgan I had read on this site.

Oddly enough, David from Tyler and Morgan was very nice and calm. This helped since I had to go through three different companies and six different reps just to get some straight answers. He said that the $350-something I owe needed to be paid by the 28th. I wasn't planning on calling this number back but, I'm glad I did...I think my issue is legit!

That "very reputable" comment makes me wonder if Absolute Resolutions and Tyler & Morgan are one and the same group of people.

Received yet another call from Tyler & Morgan out of Tampa, FL.  Since this fiasco began I've been doing some research. Tyler & Morgan for in serious violation of collection law statues as well as civil statues. There is a remedy a law firm Krohn & Moss., Ltd Consumer Law Center will take your case no up front fees. They took on action against Tyler & Morgan within  10 mins got the ball rolling. They stated they have tons of cases against Tyler n Morgan. Contact them to see if they can help you too. They are reputable and legitimate. 800-875-3666

whatever you do dont admit to any debt cause that what they trying to get you to do cause once u admit to it they got you. Call the Florida state attorny general office and report it hopefully with all of the complaints they will do something about take care also u can call ur phone company and have there number blocked

Junk debt collectors, generating many complaints. Collectors calling employers, threatening wage garnishment on debts that have never been litigated. Notification to third parties of existence of debts lots of harassment and threats.

From my perspective, they appear to think the law does not apply to them. They do have licensed and bonds where required, however we are seeking information on owner ISREAL GONZALEZ from employees and others.

They are NOT attorneys; do not be fooled by any claims or statements.

Share your dealings with us; our information suggests they may be collecting illegally on some debts.

Richard Goldburg (1-866-435-7024 X 321) left a message on my home phone looking for my ex-husband (of 5 years).  He mentioned the "firm" name of Tyler and Moore and when I asked what kind of firm this was, all he would tell me was "Absolute Resolutions" - NEVER identifying WHAT the firm did.  Mr. Goldbutt, oops, Goldburg stated this number was listed as my ex's cell phone number - LIE!  I did not get this number until 2 years AFTER my divorce was final.  When I confronted him with this information he warned me that if I started getting nasty with him, he was going to hang up.....well, I didn't give him a chance, I hung up first.  Oh, I also had my boyfriend (who is a Duputy for the Sheriff's office) contact the next day and inform their receptionist that if they contacted me again, I was going to fill phone harassment charges!  If these companies are legitimate and they were able to contact me to my ex thru a phone number I got 2 years AFTER my divorce, don't you think they could also research to find out that I have no responsibility for my ex - WE ARE DIVORCED????!!!!

I just to a spoke a lawyer about this company. Tyler and Morgan is not a law firm and they have been sued in TX for their scam.
