Got a message from someone at Kane & Daniels about an urgent financial matter. The caller ID said unknown caller, and phone number search showed private land line in Tampa FL. Beware, this is a SCAM! When I called them back to thwart their scam they immediately hung up.

KANE AND DANIELS, UNSOLICITED CALLS REGARDING BOGUS LAWSUITS, CLAIMS TO BE A SETTLEMENT FIRM.  OUR COMPANY IS NOT IN TAMPA..GO AWAY, STOP WASTING MY TIME.

THE CALL TYPE IS SOLICITING THEIR BUSINESS.

Strong suspicious this is a fraudulent scam. Should be reported.

they keep calling and say there is a legal action not so and act as if they are attornies reporting this scam co

Caller said there was an urgent legal matter regarding our company. Must call back before matter proceeds further.

I got one today.. great to see this blog.

I have ignored it.  

I assume if they have a claim agains "my company" they will have to do the hard work of filing a court case and serving me the papers.

Got a call twice. They made a wrong number. I ignored.

Someone should report this company and have them shut down!  They called me about an "urgent case" against our company. They basically take any lawsuit against a company and try to find other businesses with the exact name (how many Bob's Auto Repair are there in the country?), telling you they can help you settle, paying only 1/2 of the lawsuit. Totally pisses me off, as I'm sure there are suckers out there who fall into their trap (otherwise they wouldn't continue to make these calls).

got a message from Kane and Daniels about a lawsuit pending with 84 Lumber.  Never done business with them and I believe that they have been out of business for a while.
