A guy stated that he was from Faircount (?) and needed to speak with VP of Global Sales and said something about a project that his company is working on, and that our company may be involved in. He needed to discuss potential new business and he couldn't even pronounce our company name correctly. He was extremely pushy and immediately after telling me his company name, he asked "so can you transfer me or not?". He was fairly rude, so I sent him to the admin of the individual he wanted to talk to.

Caller said he wanted to talk to the Director (he knew the Director's name - anyone can retrieve that information from 'online', the University's staff/faculty is public information.) and he inquired about our NASA Grants - he said he was from the "Government".  He was reluctant to leave his telephone number.  His demeanor was very suspicious.  I took his name and number and immediately posted to this site.  I did NOT pass his information to our Director.  Be aware...
