Rec'd a call @ 9:59am on 4/21/14 from a person who identified himself as David Morgan.  He left a message on my answering machine re: a check sent to me a couple of weeks ago for $4000.  I was to contact him after depositing the check and then send him $3800.00 for handling charges.  I would then receive another check for $250,000.00 as my winnings from a contest I never entered or ever heard of.  I contacted the US Postal Fraud division and am following up with them regarding this issue.  I knew it was a fraud from the start and "never" had any intentions of depositing the check mailed to me or contacting these people.  My initial letter contact with them indicated the company name as: LIBERTY FINANCIAL, with offices in Los Angeles, Africa, and Florida.  Its another of many frauds being perpetuated on our elderly population.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  Beware of scams offering something for nothing.....
