    I went on line a few months back to apply for a payday loan. I put all my personal information in the computer. Social, address, work and cell numbers and my bank account information. I have been getting harrassing calls at work and on my cell stating that i have a warrent out for my arrest or there is a lawsuit filed against me for a unpaid loan and i will be arrested if i dont pay the debt. When i told him this information is false, he started reading off all my personal information. I am scared to death and dont know how to make these calls stop or to remove my personal information. his extention is 206. I cant understand his name or the company he claims to represent.

    Hello;

    I've gotten the same call but I wouldn't worry about it nor would I ever answer the number again. Only answer numbers you recognize or numbers from your own area code. He sounds like a social engineer, its not hard to gain someone's personal info online. If your truly worried contact your phone company and request a phone number change, most companies allow around 3 phone number changes before you have to pay for it.
