    Called. Pre recorded message said I was part of an IRS investigation. Said to call some number but I didn’t get that written down - said if I didn’t call I would suffer the legal consequences!  First IRS sends a letter before they ever call a person! I checked! Probably a scammer IRS said. They took the number! All I know is scammers are obvious! Got a similar call from another number just yesterday. They threatened with the FBI! Seriously! So obviously scammers have my number!
