they called this morning and the only reason i answered was to tell them to remove me from their call list because i figured it was a spam call.  Picked up and dead air.  Caller ID said "Girard PA"

"Mr. Mitchell" left a message regarding the supply portion of my electric bill account. Problem--the number he called (a cell phone) is not associated AFAIK with any electric account whatsoever.  Clearly a scam...

Also from Mr. Mitchell, telling me to call him with my electric bill and he will correct the supply portion of my account for me.  I have contacted the FCC fraud site to report the call.  I have also recorded the 'phone number in my phone under the contact Fraud and set the ringer for that contact to "no ring" so that the call will register but I will no longer hear it and be bothered.

I got a call from this number, nobody there. When I searched online, I saw numerous results indicating it was from a charity to an electricity company to a cell phone number.  Definitely a spoofed call.

While no message was left, I did go to another site and at least this time it has been confirmed that this is some kind of electric switch fraud call. When the 'company' can't even put a name in the caller ID it is most likely bogus and it is just a phishing prank.

I am sure that the number was spoofed and doesn't belong to the real people who may have or still own this number.

My answering message clearly states I will only answer identifiable calls. No message was left I can and will assume fraud thus,
this was/is clearly a phishing prank.

1/16/2016  Received a call from this number, Girard, PA id, Mr Mitchell, asking me to call re: the supply portion of my electric bill. No way!!!

Mr Mitchell left a message about electric bill from this number Girard PA as well

called twice today, left a message in an authoritative voice informing me he was calling in regard to the supply portion of my electric bill...However, he gave his name as Mr. Mitchell, but did not identify the name of the company he supposedly represents. Clearly a spammer, but the way he sounds, many people not informed about how scam calls work could be fooled. Nobody is "Mr." Mitchell  -- it would be a first and last name, and the company would be part of the message, and he is deceitful in not mentioning that he is trying to get you to switch electric suppliers -- he makes it sound as if he has some authority in the company that already supplies you with electricity. And of course never ever give info about yourself or off of a utility bill or credit card bill, or any kind of bill, to somebody who makes cold calls to you, and does so without identifying himself and his company. Nor would a legitimate utility company call with the name of the town and state as the caller ID.   Pennsylvania has made a clearly half-assed mess out of electric deregulation-- so irresponsible, just like the way they adopted condominium enabling legislation with absolutely not one provision for oversight and enforcement  -- that is another unholy scam in Pennsylvania.

Censtar Energy is the caller.

Clearly a Phisher with a range of scam streams...    Today,  it was,  "Rachel,  sorry I missed you.   Calling to complete your application for a $250,000 business credit line..." that I'm not interested in.

     Total BS.
