I've recently recieved calls from both numbers: (815) 301-4073 & (815) 301-4081, when I did a "search" as to whom the numbers belong to, it came up as: (815) 301-4081- Bruce Jendraszak, & the other one: (815) 301-4073, came up as Edward/Maureen/Paul Plebanek, as the names to whom these numbers belong to. I can thank wonderful Comcast for all my barage of solicitation phone calls!!

815-301-4073 - A young woman called me supposedly from a carpet cleaning company. She told me that a new hire of theirs had listed my number for a personal reference (she gave me the individual's name, I had never heard of him - although they apparently went to the same high school I did and she knew my first name.)
She wanted to know if I wanted a free cleaning so this new hire could get in some practice: rambling on and on about how I was not obligated to buy anything and there weren't going to be any long boring speeches.
I told her she was giving me a long speech already and that I was hanging up now. As I did I could hear her droning on.

What I want to know is how these people got my first name, phone number, and knew which high school I had graduated from!! Quite alarming.

the numbers are for the carpet cleaning company, illegally and fraudulently suggesting that your name was given to them by a certificate from a friend or family so therefore stating that you are not on any calling list but continue calling numerous times a day from different extensions, they claim to not leave messages because they have too much information to leave a message so they just continue to call, and call, if you ask who is calling they hang up and call again and again. who pays for these calls or are the calls from a legal phone line? make complaints to the do not call registry.

Who would buy those heavy, clunky, outdated, overpriced Kirby vacuums?  The sales people try every trick in the book to unload those antiques.

Hummm, I got a call the other day too... Didn't answer.... I guess I'll just put that number on silent ring.... Here's a suggestion though, make an appointment and when they come you...... 1. Not answer the door and wave from the inside at them :) .... 2. Let your dog out to go "potty" ;) ..... 3. Answer the door and say, sorry I'm on the do not call list and you'll probably get taken off then! :-D ..... The list goes on, LOL ....

I just filed a complaint with the FCC, there is an electronic form you can fill out. This company has become a complete waste of our time. The actions that this company is making are illegal, specifically since the calls are going to cell phones which is on the "do not call" list. Once the complaint goes through they will be notified by the FCC and likely if the continue their practices hefty fines will come their way. If you are having the same issue I encourage you to do likewise. One complaint is bad, but multiple complaints are much worse. www.fcc.gov, click on "Take Action", next to the search box, it should only take about 10 minutes to fill out the form.

I work for this company and our calls are not illegal in any way. You get referred by family or a friend who has just recently had a cleaning/demonstration.

Your still supposed to scrub that list and use the DNC.  Like it or not, this does not make you cold calling people legal in any way as you do not have their(the people you are calling) signatures allowing you to call!

BTW, the post your replying to is over 2 years old. Doubtful the OP will see your reply anyway!

The Kirby company MIGHT, or MIGHT NOT, sell a good product, but the second time they called our home, completely unsolicited, I needed to resort to language that I haven't used since serving in the military, to get them off our backs. They are simply PITA's!

Vacuum cleaner salesman.   Kirby.  They only sell door-to-door.  I think you can buy good used ones at brick and mortar vacuum cleaner parts stores.    They're pretty expensive new.

The ONLY thing that Kirby vacuums are known to be useful for, is to aid in an intestinal cleansing, prior to a colonoscopy. Open your mouth, and when the airflow, goes down your throat, the cleansing is complete.
