TURC Inc. left a lengthy message on my answering machine. They are a law firm that specializes in property tax appeals. Every year I get a card or letter from them saying they can reduce my property taxes, but this is the first time they have tried to contact me by phone. I have never contacted them or done business with them and my number is on the federal do-not-call list, so it is illegal for them to make telemarketing calls to me. A law firm that ignores the law is not one that I would choose to do business with. They have an F rating with the Better Businiess Bureau due to numerous unresolved complaints. I have filed a complaint against them on the federal do-not-call web site and have added their number to my phone blocker.
