calling about a survey. when told not interested, was rude, and then hanged up.

Nearly every day for the past week I get a call from 815-570-9987. I don't answer. They don't leave a message. I called the number back and got a voice message after about a three second beep that states, "You've successfully completed a test call from PacWest Telecom."

Calls from whoever what ever this is, they hang up, When I call back the number to ask them to knock it off i get a message that says you have successfully completed a test call to pacwest telecom

I really might have to get a device that blocks phone numbers this is like the 10th time in a week.

I called PacWest Telecom and spoke with a customer service representative. They are aware of the problem as they've been getting calls from people like us calling them. It's not one of PacWest's numbers or comming directly from them. She knew what phone number I was refering to as she confirmed the 815-570-9987 phone number with me. All I can say is that PacWest is looking into the matter. They took down my information and will call me back with they have found the problem.

well now a human actualy did answer when i picked up and asked to speak to my brother.
I replied no and asked why they are calling me to reach him. They replied oh weve reached the wrong person sorry and hung up. Still no idea who is behind this nonsense.

Never not message - do not  answer when i see this number show up on my phone

Calls me every day..same thing. Hangs up when I answer. If I don't answer it only rings a few times and no message is left. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!

Here is some better information. I contacted Bandwidth.com that is one of their numbers they would not release the name of the company to me so I am going to continue to dig.

They are calling my cell phone. They also know my name. I received about 8 or more calls from this number. The first times I didn't answer and called back. When called them back received similar things as reported by others.
on one if their later calls,  I answered, a man asked for me by name....told me he can help me lower my car insurance. Told him "not interested", he was very persistent and tried to  talk me into getting this free quote. Told him to stop calling and hung up.
Several days later got another call from this number. A female gave the same spill.
I asked her name and where calling from. She hesitantly said it was Angela and calling from Champaign , Il. I don't know anyone in Illinois.
Told them to place my number on the do not call list and stop calling me.

Sounds like a scam.... A loud hum on the phone connection sounds like a call out of the U. S.

Daily harassment from this # what would a company named PAC-west be in the Midwest I see our goverment obviously don't monitor the correct people

I did a little skip tracing on this number and I found out who the phone provider is for this number, it is bandwidth. I called bandwidth and the gentleman said that we need to go to their website and send in a violation form an they will look into tw issue.

Above is the URL for bandwidth fill it out and press send and they will look into the number that is annoying all of us! Maybe the more of us that send one the quicker the calls can stop!

today call & hangs up.. Am on a do not call list but matters little lately

Why do we continue to get these unwanted calls as on do no call list?  Obviously Spam and phone companies need to do something about these.

I'm on the national do not call list and paid for the Florida do not call list, and still receives these annoying calls from Sandwich, Illinois.  I don't know anyone in that city, why doesen't these call list work?

The calls are coming from a scammer.  For a scammer the Do Not Call list is just one more law to break.

They called yesterday, 5/16/12, I asked them NOT TO CALL AGAIN. They called again today, 5/17/12,  I asked them again not to call back, the caller stated he would call again tomorrow 5/18/12.

It is a call for G Beauty Institute, for those who have inquired about information for their programs.

As a telecommunications engineer, everyone should know, the number being displayed is not necessarily the number they are calling from. Internet based calls, you can program the number to be displayed. These calls are coming from over seas, and the US has no jurisdiction over these people.

Note: Recently, Numerous calls have come in to business using phone systems and the callers are using a computer dialer to hack into the system and make international calls to the Caribbean, to the tune of thousands of dollars in one night. I would pass this on to the person that handles your business phones and have them lock out international calls..

Calls coming in from a number 210-892-2450 - no one there.  Then upon a return call get a message indicating I have successfully created a test call to PacWest telecom.
