Calls, leaves no message.

BTW, Jeremy, a debt that old in all probability can't even be collected on now.  There is a statue of limitations.

Something else:  do not acknowledge any debt with documentation.

If you acknowledge it I believe the clock starts again at that point.

This person name John Davis called me. I have no idea who he is and what it is about. Sounds like a scam artist to me!

I get this over and over, one time says I wrote a bad check, never happened.  Next time it's a debt from who knows who because they never say.  Constantly saying there will be a uniformed officer in my driveway within minutes and that I will be served with a "summons" and that I must show ID.
What a crock.  I said, bring em on but of course no one has ever shown up.

got the same call.  basically called him back and punked him.  he said i owed a debt and it could impair my chance of getting a new house, (which im in the process of buying).  I told him my loan already went through so this mysterious "balance" must be miniscule or not exists.  he said well my credit may not effect my ability to buy a house.  um.....what???? of course it does.  told him to go ahead and list my account as failure to play and take my name off his calling list.  hes a scam artist
