Fraudulent company trying to take over your computer and bill you for it.  Told them I had a rope around it so it would not get away. That really confused them.

815-895-3288 = Caller ID said
City of Sycamore which is an hour west of Chicago = Their website shows 815-895-xxxx but this exact number not published...
Called multiple times but did NOT leave a message.  I BLOCKED THE NUMBER as legitimate entity would leave a message...BTW = I live in deep south and have never done anything in Illinois...would never live there and would never want to know anyone from there...

Got a call today @ 12:49, no one there.

I have no ties to IL, so you're not hurting my feelings. But really dude... why be hateful toward Illinois in your complaint about these Indian scammers?

Got a call on both phone numbers in my home one right after the other at 7:30 am. No one answered on either call.

I got that same call as well,City of Sycamor seriously? Thank goodness my answering machine was on! they thought they were going to speak to a LIVE human being, j%^&*ss, U could tell it was a Call Center, a woman was speaking,then hung up.9/25/2014

Received a call from 'City of Sycamore'. Let my machine answer. An indian woman was talking and it was very loud in the background, obviously some type of call center.

I've received calls from this number, caller ID says City of Sycamor.  I've gotten very loud with them and told them to take my number off their list. Clearly that does not discourage them. I wish ATT would take some of all that money I've paid them for YEARS and put it toward making my phone usage a pleasant experience instead of constantly fighting scams and political calls. I'm really tired of it all.

I got a call from this number and caller ID showed it to be City of Sycamore. It was a foreign accent and she said I had a problem with my computer and I told her I didn't have a computer and she hung up.

That is hilarious - can't wait to use that one the next time they call or we could just answer as if we were a computer & say some nonsense as why the call is being traced !

LOL - Russian cyber criminals! Caller ID says "City of Sycamor" (815)895-3288. I got one call 11/14/2014 10:34:00 AM and the lady had a very heavy Russian accent! You could tell she was in a call center. She told me she was calling about my computer - it was infected with a virus and she wanted to help me clean it off. When I told her she was a fraud and calling from Russia, she hung up. I then received another call 11/14/2014 1:39:28 PM - I wanted to play with him, but he was too suspicious and when I asked what country he was calling from he hung up. It was obvious from the background he too was in a busy call center. Figuring two calls in a short time span, there would be more, so I blocked the number. I know they might switch to another number, but I will deal with that next time around.

I just got TWO calls today! One from "New York", and then, THIS number! Both times, I heard NOTHING when I said "hello", after which, the phone just goes CLICK! This MUST be the season...ALL the SCAMMERS are coming out of the woodwork, like the FILTHY COCKROACHES they are!!! :-(

Very difficult to understand guy with an Indian accent... could not make out where he said he was calling from even though I asked him to repeat it. Something about Windows problem, then he asked if my computer was on.  I hung up.

And by the way, I have family and friends who are Indian whom I can understand perfectly - this guy was beyond difficult to make out.

Same call, same situation.  Indian woman too difficult to understand. Hung up on her after listening to her repeat herself, mostly incoherently.

Yep, I keep getting them also. I told them that I was a cop and would trace their calls and have them arrested, or shot, they hung up, pansies.

Got a call today.  These people are trying to gain access to your PC to collect valuable personal information.  Hang up on them.
