Called on a Sunday. No voicemail. I didn't answer

Cold on December 10th 2017. I did not answer. They did not leave a message

Said they were collecting for veterans and wanted to send an envelope. I said sure as long as they sent it with a site to see how the money would help the veterans. They said thank you for your time and hung up. I guess they don't want to say where the money they are collecting really goes.

Answered, they hung up

male with thick southern accent. He called while I was at work. I normally don't answer numbers I don't recognize but I thought it was a colleague. The guy never identified himself. He just asked for Susan. I told the guy he had the wrong number and hung up.

Received a call from this number on 12/11/17 at 2:46pm while I was at work.  I didn't answer and they did not leave a VM. Blocked the number.

Male thick southern accent. Sounded like a scam from the beginning. Hung up

Male with southern accent asked for me by name when I answered and I got freaked out and hung up. I don't normally answer for calls that I don't know but I did it on accident.

Unknown number + no message = blocked.

Answered with my companies name and the male caller asked if the head of the household was home. I said this is a company, and he hung up.

FaKe veterans scam

Saw this number on my cell phone log as a missed call. Number is from  Kansas City area code.

Called asking for my mother by name, I said she’s not here, then said the call was for both of us.  Collecting for some veterans organization.  I do like I always do now, set the phone down and wait for them to hang up.  Showed as Kansas City, MO on caller id.
