Pre-recorded "interactive" message regarding raising money for police departments. Wanting monthly pledges. Not sure if it is legit, so I hung up anyway.

Did not answer, no caller id, did NOT leave a message. If it was a legitimate caller, they wouod have left a message. Recommend DO NOT ANSWER!

This is a real person telling you about fundraising for troopers and police. They said my first name and I said “yes?” Then asked if I was interested in information by mail. I said, stupidly, “Yes”, a second time. He then hung up. I had heard of the “yes” scam but was awoken from a nap so I wasn’t thinking. I am told they can use your recorded “Yes” to open up new accounts. It seems to me they need more than my voice to open accounts but maybe I’m too naive on these things. Bottom line, do not answer phone calls from unknown numbers.

Got a message from this number that said a name and needed to talk to me about unsecured debt and new changes.
