I had their number forwarded to the FTC for over a year, I needed room on my forward/block list, recently took them off only 2 days ago and got a call from them first thing this morning. Unbelievable! Scum is what they are.

never leave a message
been going for at least one month
hopefully they will get the message
it is pure harassment  .. have reported it but does not seem to do any good

I have received at least one call a day from 817.273.5501 for 2 months. They call at all hours up to 9pm. A return call refers you to charityclothingpickup.com. The number on their web site lists 636-282-0000. If I can't get this stopped I plan on calling all the charities they say they support and ask why they would use collection services that harass potential donors. Maybe those charities are not "legit," either.

I do donate to the Leukemia Texas. They send a card out for the pick up date as do many of the others seeking donations. I got a phone call from a "cancer" donation seeker and it turned out to be a hoax. You call these people back to let them know if you have a pick up or not. This particular organization is located in Dallas.

According to the comments here, this is a clothing donation line. I don't mind making clothing donations... but most of these places have websites where you can schedule a pickup. I don't understand why they don't just leave a message! If someone doesn't leave a message, I never answer their calls. They're about to be blocked.

Continued harassment from this number, 817-273-5524 and more recently an Oklahoma number.  I don't know any charity that is so relentless in stalking people.  Do any of the donations benefit charity?  How much of the proceeds?  Nobody in my community gets anything from these people, and local charities lose out.  Also local people who need to shop for discounted items never get to any of the cities where the shops are allegedly located.  Give only to local charities you know and trust!

They may say they are collecting for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLL) but that is not how the LLS does business. This is a scam SAYING they are collecting for LLS. I have donated money to Team In Training which is a team of marathon runners that solicit donations for the LLS. I get a personal email back from them with the acknowledgement of the donation. Unfortunately I started getting calls directly from the LLS for donations (or clothing) which I didn't appreciate much but the Caller ID was Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My daughter is a marathon runner with Team In Training and has managed to get over $30,000 in donations for this great cause over the last few years.  I think the REAL Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and what Team In Training does for this charity is a great thing. I just don't appreciate them using my Team In Training donation as a lead to solicit me!

These people call every day, multiple times per day. It has been going on for years in clear violation of the DNC (don't get me started on that...). This isn't a charitable solicitation, it is nothing but telemarketing harassment.

For anyone that does donate clothing they steal the "vintage" clothing out of what is donated and sell it in their stores. Everything else gets given to Goodwill or other similar charities. These scum need to die in a fire.

I have actually used this charity before. They leave a bag at the door after they get your permission and you just leave it outside your door and they give you a receipt. Easy charity to deal with instead of driving to the Goodwill or Salvation Army.

I get calls from 817-273 5501 two to three time a day. I have a call blocker but it is full. I removed some numbers but as soon as I did, they began calling again. So I let it fill up again.  This number  comes up on my caller id as Potential Spam.

They call my landline, I dont even know my landline number, I never give it out, how they got it I do not know. They call once a week at least, I always answer in Japanese. Half the time the just hang up, the other half they tell me they dont speak Spanish and hang up. Get a clue and remove me from your data base

A dozen attempts a day on average. Previously these were all types of calls attempting to extort money.
