Repeated calls from this number.  Never leaves a message.  Silence when the phone answered.  Search results only reveal it from a land line in Reno, Texas - outside of Fort Worth.

same thing.  i get calls from this number constantly.  i have stopped answering when i see this number come up.

Now they are after me; repeated calls at 5 or 6 p.m..  Never a message, but then I don't ever pick it up, either.

My experience is equal. It rings about 9:00 A.M. and often at 6 or 7 P.M.'Never leaves message, line is silent if I answer it. This is a real pain that has lasted for at least three or four weeks and counting.

I get three or four calls a day, but they never leave a message. I never answer. I wonder who those people are.

I am getting 2 numbers each day for weeks straight, then it dies down for a couple of months. Then, they start up again. One # is 800-924-6289 and the other is 817-381-1275. The 800 # has a man with a foreign accent each time I call and the messages they leave are static-filled. They are trying to cut into phonelines somehow. In the message they claim it is not telemarketing. Be careful!

Kept calling asking for my son who was never at home.  Finally here tonight and it was a political pollster.

i get this call all the time it's at like 3:00 Pm and 9:00 AM

same thing here.. getting calls around 11:00 am. no response when i pick up... caller is silent, and then hangs up phone....

how do we stop this kind of nonsense ???

Same thing. I've gotten 3 calls. One at 1pm, one at 6pm, and one at 10am. I never answer, they never leave a message.

Left a message. It was Van Chevrolet in Dallas.

Receive calls from this number periodically. Never leaves a message. No particular pattern, just calls. I have never answered, so don't know much more than this.

Same as all the others.  Answer and no one there or they don't say anything.  Sure getting old.

It started calling me yesterday I've received two calls so far

have received calls, same as others; I don't answer unidentified phone numbers.

Please leave a fax or answer on the machine.  If it is so necessary to reach this number you have a chance to leave.  Several months ago it was a polical call.  Now i don't know.

Actually answered the call this time - tired of receiving the calls  It was a company conducting a political survey - wanting to know if you are voting, etc....told the person politely that I was not interested in the survey.  Hopefully the calls will stop - we will see. I guess "Do Not Call" lists do not matter any more.

Relentlessly calls me. Two or more times in a day. My new strategy for ALL unknown callers:

Pick up the receiver and  lay it down so the caller can hear that life goes on WITHOUT talking to them.

Caller says "Are you there?  Hello? Hello? Anyone?". Then they hang up.

Hey, they are wasting my time...how about me wasting their time.

BTW, what good is the Do Not Call List?
