Said to call back to cancel subscription (don't know what for), or they will take $299 from my bank account.  Caller ID is 817-402-0091.

They can’t even get the damn voice mail to work correctly!  Half of the message is cut off.  I get the last half of it!  Let me repeat BS!  I would like to have to solution to press the pound button that shocks them every time they call!  Unfortunately our whimsical snow flake society would think that’s too mean!

Verizon caller ID identified this as SPAM.  The caller left a cut-off voice mail message about debiting my account unless I call back.

This one doesn't give up, calls repeatedly, and leaves the same cut-off voice mail message.  Do yourself a favor and block this number after the first call.

I too got a call from 817-402-0091. It is a Recorded message regarding my bank account being charged.
In the voice message they left the same number as the call back number:  8174020091

Number according to others is that it is some fake pharmacy.  My call had to do with funds being taken from my bank account if I don't call them.  Same number, just a different scam is all.  I recommend, if you can, put your Android phone on "do not disturb," and allow your contacts as exceptions.  At least they don't get to you, and only go to your voice mail  Usually they hang up, but if they are dumb enough to leave a call back number or other info to ID them, use it to refer it to the FTC complaint site.

Said they were Microsoft and was going to charge me 299.00 then 99. per month afterwards for using them on any computer.

yes i received the same phone call to call 1-817-402-0091a scam they have called me 3 times within this week.after the 3rd calli blocked this phone #.same with the irs,the irs won,t usually call you,if they have toget in touch with you,it will be thru the mail.but a lot of people{especially the elderly get scared when they hear its the irs.be careful.if not sure then call the irs

They use the computerized voice because if we hear their accent, they will be outed as calling from another country. They expect little old ladies to freak out and give them access to their computers and bank accounts. No way Jose, or Raja, or Ivan, or ?

Today received phone call from 1-817-402-0091, message they will take $299.00 from my account.  The voice on the message is familiar, I have received other calls stating they are taking out money from my account.  These type of calls need to be stopped, they are frequent.  Too much spam.

this number called left a voice mail stating that i would be charged $300.00.

when i picked up and said hello, there was a brief pause, then this recorded message:
'dear customer, this call is from your microsoft support team ....'
i didn't listen to the rest -- i hung up and blocked them instantly.
judging from the reports on this page, i was right to do so. classic scam artists.
