Called and hung up with no message.

Called 4/4/16 @ 8:22 pm, left no message. Caller ID listed as Manhattan construction. On do not call list.

called here at 8:03 pm - caller ID reads "Out of area" - no message left (hung up before the answering machine even answered) - now blocked

I receive several calls in a day or week with no message left.  My phone picked up the name of Manhattan Construction 817 524 0369. I did pick up the call on 4/14/2016 and a mans voice came on he was asking for donations for veterans families when I questioned the company name he did not reply he was looking for a donation which I did not give stated he would mail me a request and hung up. sounds like a scam

Caller hung up. Caller ID said Manhattan Construction. One of thousands of unsolicited solicitors. What good is the DO NOT CALL list?  So far today I've heard from duct cleaning, a/c cleaning, clothing pickup, police donations, lucky winner of a dream vacation, opporyunity to lower my credit card interest, financial planning, and now this. How do we ever make this stop?

It's plenty good, but the calls you're complaining of are NOT covered by the list. That thwarts honest telemarketing only, not swindlers, fundraisers, surveys, debt collectors, or political calls. How do you make them stop? Are you required to answer your phone, either manually or by a machine? These calls continue because there's some kind of answer from your number. If you are able and have the patience and tolerance, let unknown numbers get NO kind of answer from your number and become unpopular among telepests. They love folks that answer the phone. It takes time to do, but it can be done.

Just unplugged the damn phone. If you show "out of area" on my phone you don't get a chance of getting through. Get a real job!

817-524-0369, called on a Sunday at 4:26 pm.  what nerve!!!  A**h**es.  They should be locked up in prison for disturbing us on a sabbath day.

Just clicked my CPR V5000 big red BLOCK NOW button and 8175240369 is history now. I knew from the caller ID spoof of Manhattan Const that it was another loser. I never answer my home phone unless it's someone I know. Once they find out you'll answer your phone they always keep calling. When they call back using this number it just hangs up on them now and I never here it ring lol...

Police donation scam.

I put the default ring tone on my phone to "silent" and then assign an audible ring tone for those in my address book. If it is important enough they will leave a message I will listen to it later. Most don't leave messsges.
