i receive a call from this number they didnt say were they were calling from i check on the web and it was a scam

Got call from 817-697-3266.. I do not want them calling me.

I just started getting calls from this number, very annoying!! I haven't answered but I guess it looks like I should and ask to be removed? So frustrating to have to do all of this

I would like to say this...these calls come from companies that buy your info from the various online surveys people fill out. If you EVER put your number out there it VOIDS the DNC exclusion. The only way to avoid this is to simply not put your number on the net...NOT even on your facebook info!! AND if you get these calls just simply say "Please put me on your DO NOT CALL LIST"...if you say you are on one already but do not specify to be put on theirs they will keep calling!! The absolute WORSE thing you can do is just hang up....they WILL keep calling back...and Not Interested will put you in their callbacks for future reference...I hope this will help some of you out!!

That company gets the info from the start page you filled out on the survey. If you accept any of the offers on the survey and there are charges involved for them...THEN you will get charged on your cell bill. Watch your phone bill and report any charges to your cell phone carrier. They will tell you how to get that charge reversed and taken off your bill. I used to work for a cell phone company and this happens A LOT!! I hope this helps out! :-)...and remember everyone....NOTHING is FREE these days!

What I understand is anytime you put your phone number out there on the internet then that company is exempt from the DNC list. Of course...if you did not put it out there then someone probably put in false info trying to "win" something. I work for one of these companies and we call time and temp, car dealerships, doctor offices....etc. The best thing you can do is answer the call and tell them to put you on their do not call list...telling them you are on one does not mean they will put you on theirs. Hope this helps out a bit!

I got a call from this number & also 817-918-4551 after I completed a survey from my WALMART receipt for one of five $1,000 walmart shopping cards...what a SCAM!!!

this is a debt agency,call back press 9 and you will be removed

I am on the national do not call list and still getting calls from these stupid people Stop it at once.

I've gotten three calls in the last three days from this phone number.  The number is out of Keller Texas. I will make it a point to not buy anything that is made or grown in Texas as my retribution.

They said they got my contact information from an online survey (luckily, it was on my house phone, which I can block), and they were a Debt Reduction company.  Do NOT deal with them, unless it is to remove yourself from their calling list.  Debt Settlement companies are pretty much a scam and many state Attorney General offices are banning them.  They will do nothing but get you in trouble.

Thank you very much for this post. That's what i thought was happening was from filling out those surveys and such. I just called the number back and they have an option to remove ur number from the list. If u havent done it already, u can so they can stop bothering u.

These calls just started today and are coming every 30 minutes or so, they never leave a msg.  The caller ID just says 'TEXAS'

I want them stopped!

got a phone call from this company, havent filled out any surveys.  They will not leave a voice mail just keep trying to call.

So much for the Do not call list.  This is a debt reduction scam.  I have been receiving calls from this number for several days now.  I do not answer, but I finally called the number and the voice mail says press 9 to remove your name from the list.  I did it, but it remains to be seen if it will work.

It is a debt reduction agency. Like the other post said call it back press 9 and enter your phone number to be removed from their phone list.

I'm trying to figure out how I can block them on my iPhone. Any suggestions?
