Answered the call, no one there, they hung up.

817-872-3346 shows up on the caller id as both the name and the phone number.  I answered hello once and he said hello once, then never said anything else.  I put the phone on mute and walked away.

He called back 4 more times under the following numbers

I answered and they sat on the phone. and hung up.

They are calling me multiple times each day of the week. I say hello...hello...hello. No response. I sat there a minute maybe last time. I call back and it was busy. Wish these scammers would stop. I see it has gone on since 2007 or before. Who ever I did business with that gave them my #...I am not happy and am on DNC.  8178723316

(FWIW, Some posts on other numbers in this list identify this as Xspedius Management, and mis-identify that company as a collection agency. Xspedius Management Co Switched Services, Fort Worth, TX, appears to be the phone service they are using, not the actual company calling.)

I've received calls from several different numbers, which all look as if they may be from the same company. They never leave a message, and when I call back, there is no answer. Here's my list of the numbers I've encountered, so far:

*I've found other entries that indicate 817-872-3316 Garbarino & Johns, possibly a telemarketing company for non-profits. The following is the entry from 800Notes for that number, made by Kallie on August 13, 2007:

This number along with many numbers starting 817-872-33## belong to an inept,  deceptive, rude, and harassing telemarketing company (if that is not redundant).  They have called on behalf of organizations such as Lions Club, Jr Chamber of Commerce, and unknown others.  They do not follow the laws of telemarketing.  At least several months ago, to (possibly) be taken off the lists (and only for a couple of months), one could contact Joe Beavers at 817-267-3682.  Their calling center is in Euless.  If one ever finds out on whose behalf they call, contact that local organization to complain about the telemarketer they use.
