I got a call from 818-273-0020 on February 2, 2016 at 7:04 pm.  The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "California," whatever that is supposed to mean.  Don't all legitimate companies use their real name for their ID?  I would think so.  I have been on the Do Not Call list for ten years.

According to Mobishobi web site, this could be a mobile phone number from India. It's easy for spammers to change the caller id to California.

Same here! Today, February the 3rd., at 3:57 pm, phone rang and caller ID said CALIFORNIA 1-818-273-0020.  No message was left.

Someone called today at 1:22 PM and my answering machine picked up.  They did not leave a message and the caller ID said Sunland, CA.  It has the look and feel of calls I’ve received from Portfolio Recovery who is a debt collector but I don’t know for sure.

Six (6) calls were received from 818-273-0020 on 2/4/16.  Answering machine on but no message.  I hope "Call Block" will work!

They want you to return the call that way they can say you called them and they can give their sales pitch.  Plus by answering their
computer knows this is a valid number and they can have a person call.

Received cal from unknown # so I will not answer . CID said CALIFORNIA and no message left -go figure ! Must be important -NOT ...

Received a call at 1:37 pm on my cell phone.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number & I don't answer numbers I don't recognize!  I have been on the Do Not Call List for years, but I keep getting these stupid calls.  Lot of good being on the list does.  Didn't leave a message.

Received a call from (818) 273-0020, but they left no message.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  The location said, "Sunland-Tujunga, California".  I've never even heard of that part of California.  I blocked the number to avoid future calls.

Largo, your instincts ring true (pun intended!). It has the look, feel and timing (sandwiched between similarly spoofed numbers & CIDs) of either PR or Dynamic Recovery Solutions, another equally sleazy junk debt buyer. It's always the same MO. When they realize you've blocked a spoofed number they switch to another fake CID in a lame effort to trick you into answering. They spoof local numbers in your area code, charities, police associations, energy savings schemes and other ridiculously transparent identities. There's a pattern to their harassment calls and it's not as difficult to detect and block their trolling as they apparently think.

Called 2 times in the past 2 hours and no one was there when I answered.

she left a message all she saidthat was was her last name was kent  i believe it was anna kent she  asked  are you there? and hung up dummy  she could not figure out that she was communicating with my answering machine

Call for breast cancer awareness donation

Received and answered call from 818-273-0020. Clever RoboCall named "Lisa Kent" but obviously a programmed recording. Started going into women's breast cancer, searched the number and found its a scam. Don't give them your info, if you wish to actually donate find and call a real donation center.
