Anonymous:  They're selling their Religion, they're selling Jesus Christ.  Membership is free per the recording but they would like you to donate.  Jesus didn't make anyone a Member.  Recording isn't real clear.  Just read your Bible.  Wonder why we all don't question so-called churches what they do with the money, where it goes and who they help.

A call purporting to originate from this number (although it could be spoofed) was received today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message.  According to www.411.com this is a cell phone in North Hills, CA.  Since I do not know anyone from there, I must presume this is an illegal telemarketer who has violated the Do Not Call law by phoning.

Received a call from this number with No ID and no Message. Called it back from a different line and heard: "Hi. Everything you know about Jesus Christ is wrong.......blah blah blah." The message offered to allow me to join their church for free and to be taught the right way to follow Jesus. Number is now blocked - though I have to admit I'm intrigued as all to be darned what they have to say and what their angle is.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

    1. You are right membership is completely FREE.
    2. You cannot use your own corrupt mind and understand the bible you will always get it wrong. That is why we are here to teach you the right way to follow Christ.
    3. Jesus did have members if you actually read the bible it says :

    Serve God with Spiritual Gifts
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

    OR

Unity and Diversity in One Body
12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into[c] one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.

15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?

20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the best[d] gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.

This why you need to be taught because if you use your own corrupt mind you will get simple things wrong without ever knowing it

The first post you made on this thread is, in my opinion, informational.  It tells readers who is making the calls.  All posts after the first are spam, you advertising your church here for free.

My phone number is on the Do Not Call List,  I consider any call from you  or any other church to be unacceptable.  Call it spam, call it a scam, call it harassment, call it anything you want.  Just don't call me.  Don't call anyone who hasn't contacted you first.  Stop being a pest.

There is no one true way and people do *not* like to have it shoved down their throats either.  Nor do they appreciate getting calls they did not ask for either.

"...become a member for free and receive everything you will need to learn the right way to follow Christ by mail. Now we are the only church that is able to teach you the right way to follow Christ so please take this opportunity seriously."

By mail, huh? For one, worshiping is free PERIOD. Secondly, you stating twice "..the right way to follow Christ.." is about as "foot-in-the-door", bible thumping as one can get. The right way to follow is up to the individual. There is no wrong way.

Lastly, YOUR POST IS 100% SPAM-SCAM..

"You cannot use your own corrupt mind and understand the bible you will always get it wrong."

You are the one who is corrupt. You are a bossy britches who is looking for people to boss around and you use your interpretation of what is written in the Bible to justify your attempts to dominate people.

"That is why we are here to teach you the right way to follow Christ."

The right way to follow Christ is NOT follow people like you.
No one needs you, you are the one who needs other people.

Interesting.  Somebody else got a spammy call and the "pastor" refused to stop calling him.  If you go to the cr@ppy website, there is no other way to contact them, other than call the number back and leave a message!  There is no real information on the site, just the scammy request for donations.
