They knew my name!

A call from this North Hills VOIP number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message.  This is typical of robocallers who use automated dialers to place calls.  If a live person answers, the call is handed over to a live (illegal) telemarketer.   Don't be fooled.  Don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.

Number said from Sunland, Ca.  Left no message.  I blocked it.

The caller, Sunland CA ( displayed on our phone as ID, called us @ 12;44 noon, 08.10.2015, while I was outside, I returned the call hiding our number 1/2 hour later, a lady message told me: " The number you have dialed is not in service... etc."
According www.800notes.com  above , this number has been used to call people randomly since 07.27. 2015.

A live Caller, asked for person by last name only, left no message.  Tried calling # back only to get a recoding saying # is no longer in service....ya right you just called.

I got a call from them again today via a new number.  She started out "you asked us to call."  I stopped her and told her that I have been asked to be removed from their database since I am on the Do Not Call List.  Each time I block the number and still get calls from a new number.  Last week they asked for my husband.  I said I was offended since he has been dead for 3.5 years.  She assured me the number would be removed.  It was not!  Report them to the Do Not Call registry.  Let's get them fined.

Received this call yet again from Sunland, CA with the usual script of "We spoke before and you asked us to call again when you might be ready to make some home improvements."  And don't forget they always add that "The last time we spoke you were so nice and wanted us to call again in a few months."  B.S.  Keep calling if you desire, but you will receive either a hang up or lots of B.S. from this side of the phone.

I answered...the person says "Hello" I retort back - in an odd voice "Hello". The person says "Ohhhhh" and hangs up. Like he was disappointed or something

ID: Sunland, CA/ No message. They called on 8/10 as well.

I answered a call from this number and was asked if I was Mr. Xxxxx. I said I was, and then he seemed flustered and said he had to go, and hung up. Very strange!

Another call from this North Hills (os Sunland?) VOIP number arrived today, exactly two weeks since the last call on Aug. 9.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller again left no message.  According to my neighbor, Tiger, Ventura County, this robocaller also spoofs (818) 237-146 (only 9 digits!) and 818-976-4315.  According to my neighbor, Camarillo Resident, this is a (scam) home improvement contractor.  Apparently, this is one of many scam contractors trolling the phone lines in search of victims -- uh, customers.

DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM (OR A CUSTOMER).  DO NOT ANSWERS CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

Yeah then knew our name too!  Claiming to be home improvement stalkers.  I will find a way to shut these people down for violating the DO NOT CALL laws.

The caller, Burbank CA (  displayed as ID on our phone ) called us @ 12:35, noon, 09.01.2015.
It used using 818-237-1466 Burbank CA, 818-273-6617 Sunland CA  818-788-4315  Sherman Oaks Can & 7 818-886-6601 from same area to call people randomly. It seemed it started to use 818-276-9831 today. When I returned the call hiding my number, a loud, young lady
message: " You can't complete the call now, please try later." Then it hung me up.
Yes " try later.".
