No message...multiple calls--now blocked.

Calls all the time, leaves no message. If you call back the number is not real. BLOCKED CALL FROM NOW ON

An unwanted call from this North Hills cell number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message.  This is typical of robocallers who use automated dialers to place calls.  If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live illegal telemarketer, in violation of the Do Not Call law.

**SCAM ALERT** I picked up the telephone since I keep seeing this phone number on my reader ID. Tyler from the "Simi Valley Resource Development Center" called and asked if there were any projects that we would be requiring in the near future. My first question was "If you're a Simi Valley company, then why are you calling from an 818 area code?" He responded that they do work all over the area. Then he asked again what type of work are we needing? I asked him if they did solar and he said "no." They do energy efficiency for water, texture coating, roofing, foundation, cement work. I said we just had our roof done, but do they have a website? He said "yes" and said go to the "Resource Development Center" and click on "Simi Valley."  AND THEN HE HUNG UP. I googled Resource Development Center and there's not one listing for home remodeling or repair.

Two calls within three seconds bounced off our voicemail. Blocked.

I get these calls all the time, and somehow it is connected with Richard Riley of Simi valley at 4535 hampstead street. They keep calling and ask for this person - mr. or mrs. I dont know who they are, but I suspect they are the owner of this 805-273-6840 number and have too much time on their hand. Either that, or they are intentionally giving out my phone number to harass me. I am afraid for my safety.

Solicitor drumming up business, would not take no for an answer and said three times at the end of the conversation that he would be at my residence at 10 am.  Told no multiple times.  I tried to call back to tell him not to come to my house, that I was reporting him and got a recorded message that this number had been disconnected.  This person is a hazard, do not make an appointment or give information.

I was expecting a call so I didn't screen this one. 😒 Caller knew me by name, which was strange because my number is unlisted.  Identified himself as "Michael Meyer" and said we spoke before about doing projects on my house.  My BS alert went off because I knew that was not true.  Asked, "where did you get my number?" He said "Home Depot."  I said "wrong again." (I don't do business there) ... He then said he doesn't remember where he got the number... When pressed by me for info, he hung up...   When I tried to call back from a blocked number, it says "it is not a working number" ... Research shows it is a "pooled phone," which probably explains the "non working number" status.  It shows as a Verizon number out of Sunland...

The female said that "we spoke a while ago -- something about needing them to do work on my house". I called her several NASTY names. Caller ID said Sunland, CA.

I asked to be taken off calling list, female caller said she'd call back tomorrow.  I repeated to not call again.  She mockingly said she'd call again.  I called her several deserved names.

You're better off not engaging in conversation with them, much less requesting not to be called again. They don't understand that saying, and it's often an invitation for explicit, vulgar, and defiant responses. You're best off just hanging up if you decide to take the calls in any way. If they get no kind of answer from your number, they're likely to give up after a while.

According to several posters, this caller is an apparent scam contractor trolling for business, giving a fake name, pretending to have had previous conversations with the victim about home improvements -- in short, lying through the teeth.  Why would anyone ever want to do business with such a persistent, pathological liar?

DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM.  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

Female voice responded and asked my first name. When I asked who she was, she hung up.
