Threatening jail. Saying call back. Foreign accent. Saying if I disregard this message they feel sorry for me.

These people called me with the same information and was very threatening. When asked about the agency name it was different than what was left on my phone. They say they are from the Financial Crime Investigation  Federal Agency. The call back number to speak to my so call attorney is Scott Micholscom and the number to speak with him is the same number they were calling from. When I asked let me speak with him right now he got aggressive. David Foster (foreign accent) the 1st person I spoke with said that my information was sent via email 3 times with no response. When I asked to mail me the information via certified he got angry and told me that he would not give out any information over the phone that I had to speak the other person. Not sure who to contact to from here but I am trying to put the word out.

Was automated msg when answered, foreign accent, was threatened with jail w/in 45mins and warrants.  Have been receiving several calls like this for two weeks now and have no financial or legal issues.  Tried to call back, same # that called, and could not obtain an actual person.  I am sick of my number being sold to these agencies and have been on the national do not call list since it became an option!  Please help!!

I just got this call today as well.  From the same "Scott Nicholson/Mikelson" (or whatever) that the poster above, Demetria described.  Heavy accent, which I thought sounded like a bad Irish accent.  They called my cell, I didn't recognize the number and was surprised that they actually left a message.  When I listened to the message, I was pretty irritated.   I tried to call back because I knew it was a scam and I wanted to screw with the loser.  Unfortunately, when I tried to call the number back, it didn't ring.  I was kind of bummed.  
I'm also on the national do not call list.  Apparently, it doesn't work... plus i doubt criminals really care any way!

Here is the actual message he left:
" Hi this is Scott Nicholson. .... Federal Attorney from Steve Williams and Associates law firm.  The purpose of this call is just to let you know that you are being listed as a primary supsect in a case that is about to be downloaded and prosecuted in your state within the next 45 minutes with a warrant against you.  At this point in time we have received some civil charges against you and your social (can't make out the word but i think that is what he said)...We are about to issue a warrant against you and about to proceed with legal actions against you by sending local county officers to your work and at your doorsteps.  We are even about to contact the social security bureau.  So, what we want you to do is... please do ask your attorney,  if you have one,  to contact us immediately on 818-275-1187.  I will repeat the direct line to my desk is 818-275-1187.   Do not disregard this message and the time is extremely sensitive.  Do call us back and ask for Scott Nicholson or Robert Marshall.  You have a good day."

I love how he told me to have a good day!

Same story as above. i contaced my local sheriff to check into this.  they are pissing me off!!!!!

yeah at they dont quit calling either and alll of the above wasstated to me as well

This is definitely a scam... I will be the first to tell you that this is not the first time I have recieved phone calls like this but if this is regarding a "PAYDAY LOAN" or what not they only thing they can do is send you off to a collection agency, you cannot be arressted for oweing a place money..

This number called me 19 times back to back saying some bs information. and threatning me that my social security number was in three complaints.

The person that called me said theri name was Officer Johnson from the Finincial crime federal law devision and blah blah about this being time sensitive. I asked for an address or a superior to talk to and he told me to call back the number and as for him but the name was not officer johnson. They called me 19 times back to back.

They called me claiming to be Scott Mikelson a lawyer. He claimed I have received a cash advance from USA Cash Advance & that a warrant would be issued for my arrest, for check fraud & several other charges. I do not have a cash advance at all right now. Mush less one that I have not paid back

I got the same message, however, this moron did not know i was a law student at the time, and told him, come get me, and when we go to trail, I was going to make sure he would work in the kitchen in prison!! he hung up

Have got 22 calls today alone from this number saying that I have commited finincial crimes. I answered the phone and told the man to stop calling and he asked me why I was acting like that. I had my husband answer the phone and he told him some bs. Know real officials dont tell other information like that they want to speak to the person at hand.

i got a call today from the same number saying i was going to jail '''''''''''''hes name was mike jones and tuesday i got the same call but it was a 202 number and hes name was roy king saying the samething there pissing me off be careful

Is there anyone we can report this too. I'm getting the same calls everyday. Its annoying. Threatening me to be arrested. I think we should sue for their false threats.

This is a scam calling from # 818-275-1187. they also use the name cash advance usa.  don't send them any money and hung up on them. They have been reported and information about them  you can goggle on the internet.

Im so sick and tired of these foreign phone calls, threatening me about jail..the information that they have is totally incorrect..and when you try and get information out of them, they start repeating the script..I dont have time to keep changing my number.. there has to be someone out there that can put a stop to these people trying to swindle money out of hard working people

Just got a call from Scott (somebody)  Could not understand.  Stating that they are investigators and they will be coming to pick me up and cart me off to jail if I don't contact them by 6:00p.m.!!!  The voice message sounded quite garbled.  I am trying to take care of an elderly parent and this is becoming quite annoying.  What can we do to stop the harassments made by international crazies??????

i also have been getting threatening calls from a no. 818-275-1187,yesturday they called saying they were cashnet usa, when i had already talked to the real cash net usa, well this foringer got real baligerant with me on the phone when i asked him not to call my no. again, thats how i realy knew it was a scam call. they also called about fifteen min ago and said that i was being sued but they couldnt tell me by whom and said i was going to jail and that i needed a lawyer, i guess they want you to hire them and thats how they get your money, this guy said he was from american legal services, the 818 no comes out of california, they must have a place set up like tellamarketing, just a big ware house with tons of phones and a bunch of foringers making differnt calls all over the states, i just had another call from a foringer saying i was aproved for a ten thousand dollar loan, ye right

Yes my daughter got a call today from 818-275-1187 from a foreign guy named Kyle Cooper.Told my daughter that the sheriff's dept would be coming to pick her up due to some loan.....Said he was from the Financial Crime Investigation  Federal Agency. Would not tell her where the loan was from but said that all that would be revealed to her when she goes to court.,.......said she could pay $498.69 or $10,000 -$12,000 for a bond to bail her out of jail.................told her that a warrant was being issued for her and that officers would be coming to pick her up........that she would lose everything she had my god she has nothing................he was very aggressive and rude...................she is very upset and worried about going to jail i told her not to worry about it that it is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
