Got a call from this lady asking me about my need to get my floors redone and whether I had other things I wanted to do. Then she asked me whether I had a home phone line or not and offered to come by to give me a free estimate on any work that I needed done.

A home contractor called me to talk about potential remodeling needs and when I tried to call back, I could not reach them. The ring goes on forever and there is no message or voicemail. Since they asked whether I had a home phone line or not, not being able to reach them makes me quite suspicious. I wonder whether they were trying to get my home number to find out whether I am at home or not.
