Caller ID reads California Energy.  Stayed on phone line just long enough to indicate message, but none there.  Just another call to add to my growing list of unknown and unwanted calls.

4/20 15:00, Sort of curious, but not enough to try to call back.

And they're BACK!!!  After a long absence during which they were (hopefully) incarcerated, here they are again to intrude on our tranquility.  It never ends.

The a$$holes are using a new number now.  I will continue to pray that someone kills them.

Another call tonight from these a$$holes.   There was an article in the Sunday newspapers about why these robocallers don't quit.  The main reason is because "they make a lot of money."  If only 2 % of the people they call end up purchasing something from them, it adds up to hundreds of thousands of dollars.  The article also said there is no way to stop them from calling.  They recommend that we "just don't answer the phone."   For anyone that still thinks they are an honest, legitimate company, ask why they won't show a caller I.D or phone number when they call.  Why won't they tell you their address?  There is a special place in hell for them.

called at 8:38 pm,  did not leave a message. im sure they will call back today.  i am reporting them to the do not call registry

Got a call from 8182850179 - caller id said California Ener....   Didn;t answer before they hung up after 2 rings - they didn't even wait to get my answering machine and leave a message

A call originating from this number arrived yesterday.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message.  This is typical of robocallers who use automated dialers to place calls to homes and businesses.  According to www.whitepages.com this is a landline number located in Van Nuys, CA.  According to several other persons (see above), this is an energy scam artist.  If that is true, it may be the same caller originating from (818) 442-5302 that tried to phone me several times in December.

I received a call from 818-285-0179, just today caller ID says California Energy...I get calls everyday form this so called company, I started blocking the numbers, to no avail I still receive calls from said company but different numbers, so far I have blocked 9 different numbers...They have even called from a number I can't block Yesterday the caller ID showed up as my Dad's name and phone number...Which is the house phone...

11/30/15  20:41 PST  Attempted to call but I didn't answer since I don't know who CEC is or why they are calling that time of night.  Only rang once so I think probably on the no mo block list.  Just really dislike these later evening attempts.

12/26/15 15:00 PST  Tried again, just now and just like the last time, only rang once, but, at least, called at a more reasonable time of day.

12/29/15 18:12 PST I see CEC and refuse to answer phone.  Will go to call blocker now, since they aren't taking the hint.  Fed up, only rang twice , they didn't wait to get to voice mail.

"CEC"  They hung up.

They call multiple times a day. Tonight I asked them to stop calling. She said, "I'll just call back really early in the morning."

3/17/17 15:34  PDT First attempt in a while by this number.  Didn't answer this time and no message left. Don't believe I blocked it the last time but will now.  They seem to be sporadic in their efforts, but I would just as soon stop the calls in any case.

7/20/17 19:05 PDT  Have been blocked for several years, but still tries to get thru.  This time, followed rapidly on the heels of another caller who seems to have been blocked by an outside source.

Now they're calling me, and left no message. Well, join the club...I'm sure I'll hear from them again.

Well sure enough, they called me again about a month later. No message left.

Looks like they are once again using this number for their attempted scam. Have no idea who CEC is or why they called my home phone at 3:22 PM on 7/16/2019. I missed call and caller left no message, all signs of a possible scam!
