Just filled out insurance quote on computer.  Got a call minutes later, No one answered.  I googled the number and came to this site.  The caller ID said ITSOL.

Supposed to give me a quote on renter's insurance. Called about 5 minutes after I filled out the online application.

probably trying to put us on a phone solicitation list and checking the number works

i got a call from 1-818-299-9144 at 7:58pm on 1-30-08 after filling out insurance quote form. I did not answer it because i did't recognize the number...only personal friends and work have the number.  If I don't know the number I do not answer.

I searched for Phoenix Insurance and ended up at this website where i filled out a form to compare insurance quotes. I finished the first page form, hit OK but then closed the browser w/o filling out the second page form. A minute later a got the CALL!

Filled out an insurance quote online and within minutes (possibly seconds) got this recorded call. Hung up... blocked the number and now see that I have five blocked calls in three days. The sad thing is I allowed myself to think that I was getting online quotes only.

Filled out form for insurance yesterday...got a call today from 818-299-9144. Is it possible to take legal action and prevent them from calling any further?

Same as rest..filled out insurance quote..Insurance.com also at 2insure4less.com. So must be 1 of the two or both are the culprit.I did get a piece of message.."sorry for the inconvienence"

yeah I filled out an auto insurance quote too. Um these people have like my mailing adress n phone number and social security number should I be worried?

I filled out a request for an ONLINE QUOTE on a website to compare rates... I have YET to see any RATES, but yet so many EMAILS AND CALLS... I'm glad I came to this webiste... VERY lol...

same thing happend to me with the 818 299 number. is there a way to block or see what they are going to use the information for?

I filled out for business insurance quote, within 15 secs of hitting enter I received a call, I did not answer. My vmail had a tail end of someone saying, sorry if this was an inconvenience. This is why I do not like to give my number.

Same thing. As soon as I filled out an insurance survery, I got a call on my cell phone.

ITSOL called at 11:53 am, left no message.  Showed up on caller ID.

818-299-9144 Called 5 days ago and hung up on me.  I've been getting wrong number phone calls everyday since.

I called and a woman answered the phone.  I told her somehow my phone must have been accidentally entered into their data base and could I get it removed.  She looked the number up and deleted if ott the list, promising me that I would NOT be receiving any more unsolicited calls.

I told that their automated system had phoned me at 8 a.m. (EIGHT IN THE MORNING!!! argh!!!) and I suggested that perhaps they needed to upgrade their software so that people could opt out.  If you want phone solicitation for insurance, press 1, otherwise, press 2 for No.  She didn't say anything to that.

I then told her that there were a LOT of complaints about ITSOL's phone calls on various online forums, and she said, "Yes, we know."   I guess they want even wrong numbers 'cause they will still get money for selling a viable phone number.

Anyway, good luck to everyone else.
