Received calls at my place of employment from this person who sounds like he is from India states he is working for attorney - I am so sick of this idiots calling me and wanting me to wire money to settle a debt they need to get a real job and stop trying to scare people out of money - better yet get a life - please let me know if anyone has gotten calls from "Allen"

I got a call from that number from a Sharon Williams who also sounded Indian. I just did not return the call.

yes I received a number of phone calls about havong a payday loan through american pay day cash that is under collection bu ]t they don't have any information about my social # in their files If you run their phone # AND name it falls under a scam

recieved a call from 818-301-1238. Indian accent scam artist. Filed police report against # .They call from different  phone #'s. Also 305-414-7618. Say put me on the do not call list and advise them a police report has been filed.

Remember debt collectors don't harass u on the phone. U can go to jail for being in debt. U Google this number there are a number of people saying this is a scam. Don't listen and hang up

This is the 3rd different number that has called saying I owe on a payday loan.  I have been to my bank combed through my accounts and do not owe any money.  I have filed with the FTC and police.  All 3 have an Indian accent with a common name like today was Jordan Davis.

Claiming to be from a law firm. Scam artists using scare tactics. Had them on the phone while googling the number. They hung up when I asked which of the 20 numbers they've called from is the best one to report them to the FTC with.

Indian sounding person calling my cell 8 times back to back everyday and my employers line saying he is Fraud Protection and has had a case filed against me. Has used multiple numbers and this is one of them...names they are using is Roger Smith and Mr Jones .... Major Harassment and have no clue how to stop it. I called them back and asked they stop calling and they laughed and started to tell me I am no american just to get me all fired up ..... I did hang up but am so sick of these guys .... phone numbers changing and names so no way to track. Any known ways to stop them?

I received a call last year and again 3x today from this number threatening me with arrest, saying he worked for a law firm and wanted to know the name of my attorney. He had my social and address. I told him I knew it was a scam and I would report him to the police and to never call again. He tried to argue with me and when I asked him his full name and that I wanted to talk to a supervisor he hung up on me. This is a tolal identity theft situation. Report it to whoever you can.

after the 619-534-8203got another phone call from these fools claiming to be from a law firm walter jackson and gibson.... they need to give up im not buying that line no more.

They calls me every time on my work place and harrase mme for a loan which i don't owe from anybody. they are scam artist. They are indians who harrase and takes money from us. Pissed off from this calls.

Received a call from a man with an Indian accent.Not sure of the name he gave.Could barely understand anything he said.Claims I owe money to a payday loan company I've never heard of & that he is from Walters Law Firm.Also states if I don't pay, I will be arrested on 5 counts of fraud.When i asked for contact information for the company or asked any questions about the loan, he simply stated he could not discuss anymore than he had already told me and I must pay or go to jail.

I have gotten several calls from this number as well as others. All with indian accents and american names. Told me i had a collection for fraud and other charges on me for a pay day loan. Well i never applied for any payday loans or other loans. They said i was American Payday Loans. I looked up the company on the net while he was giving me his spill on the phone. What i found out was interesting after looking at the website it is big as day. We are not a lending setvice. All they do is match you with loan companies. So next time anyone gets a call and they say American Payday Loans. Just hang up. It is a scam.

Just received a call from them just now.. Told them idiots to stop calling..

yeah i got the same! And Indian accent also. He said his name was Adam. He called my job and my cell phone blowing it up. They claim they were from American Pay Day loans also! Yeah its a scam and they just want your information. Th e bad part is they tried to come after my account so be careful they didn't get me !

I got a similar call from this number and also from 15552222 on my cell tonight at 9pm. Claimed my husband got a payday loan and that they were filing charges for Bank Fraud, Check Fraud and laundry list of other charges. I told them it was not possible for my husband to have gotten a payday loan online or in person because they are not allowed in the state of GA not even online. He threatened to put me in my husband and me in jail. And that tomorrow we would be served with papers and picked up. I told him to bring it on. Tomorrow I will be filling a police report for harrasment and threatening me over the phone which is a federal offense in the US. It works when you are a judges daughter and able to get advice on how to handle idiots that do not understand the law.

I just received a call from 818-301-1238 regarding an outstanding payday loan in the amount of $6,000.  They stated which I could not understand, but bits and pieces, but they said they represented American Loan.  They also stated that the sheriff department has issued a warrant for my arrest and I am expected to be arrested in 48 hours.  This is not the first they have tried this, even calling my place of employment with this scam.  I'm sick of it and wish the police would shut them down immediately!

i got a call from the number 20 times one day threatened my lawyer and didnt hear from them again until today. i called them back and they said the police were going to come pick me up and everything that i had to pay court costs for 6000 dollars in California. had me so worried. they say the have proof and everything but i haven't received a dime from anybody. I'm assuming its a scan. if you get the call ignore it. block the number a report it so it doesn't mess up your credit.
