They called 3 times today.

I didn't answer.

I don't know who they are but I am pretty sure they are telemarketers or scammers.

They called here in Texas at 6:40pm local time (and only once), I answered and of course delayed saying anything to see if it was a machine.  Either the caller was muted or the not speaking messed up the timing of the machine.  I had a minute of silence with nothing on the other end.

Got a call from this today, didn't answer and no voicemail was left.

Agreed - got a call...no answer...just  silence and then the call terminated.

Called New York at 4:22pm EST. Definately a spammer and scammer traced to Grenada Hills in Cali. Hope they get caught, they deserve it.

Called about 10.30 est , no answer /silence on other side when I said hello. Sounds surely like a scammer/telemarketing.   I said hello three or four time. no answer on the other side. Guess they are testing which are the numbers that get a live response so that they can update and enrich their scam list and target more effectively

Received call asking for me, when asked who it was he hung up.

I received a call on my cell asking for my ex of over 4 years.  Have had my number for nearly 10 years in my name.  When I asked who was calling, he hung up. I received a call last week from the same guy, different number, also asking for the ex.  Tried to call it back but it's been disconnected. I called back the number that called this week,  today and received a message that said I had reached the voice mailbox of, then there was this pause like someone should record their name but it said by computer "new user", leave a message after the tone. It sounded like a recording cell companies use. I left a message that I had received a call looking for {ex's name} and could provide current contact info if they called again.  Same guy called again in a couple hours.
I have never received calls for my ex, and bills are always paid so I am certain it was not a bill collector.
