GOt a fax regarding repairs wanting to be performed on his mothers car - body work and brake work.

this looks like the old TTY scam.  We also got a fax to our bodyshop about an alleged Cadillac needing to be towed from California to NJ.

Received the FAX 2 days after receiving the same name and story through TTY on all three of our business lines. It's a scam. Admire the dedication of three phone calls followed by a fax with an e-mail address. Still won't pay for the tow.

We have received two faxes recently from this same person.  They ask for a quote for 250 people for a birthday party.  Over the years we have gotten these before.  The scam is that you quote for the food and the shipping charges.  They offer to pay as much as you want.  Then the shipping company gets worked into the equation.  Ultimatey, the restaurant is asked to send money to the designated person and the shipping company is supposed to pay all costs, food and lots of money when they pick up the food.

We received a fax today in Iowa.   Wanting to tow his vehicle from Cal. to Iowa (his home town).   He has made arrangements with a tow company there and just needs are contact info.

got the same fax this am in Kansas.That is almost insulting to my intelligence.Tow a wrecked 07 Escalade to kansas for body repair. The tow bill would be worth more than the Escalde. Maybe if a phone scammer like this to be caught and cut off his friggin fingers there would probably be less scammers out there.

Have been receiving this same fax for months now.  The sender, Edward Johnson, changes only the number in his email address every couple of months; now it's Edwardjohnson002@yahoo.com; the past faxes were with the numbers 004 & 006.  He's a smart one!
The fax today says a Cadillac Escalade needs body repair that happened in California and wants "tow down to your shop for body work".

Received our fax for the Escalade here in Missouri today.  Saying the same as all the above posts.

This all bullcrap, they kept sending email or fax about buying a large order of food at mu restaurant, but im not stupid... This is was actually scam, shame on people that doing this for living and may he or she rot in hell,.. bollocks!!

Got this fax several times.  Wants our restaurant in Brunswick, GA to quote on food for 250 people for a party in California.  This is a scam.  We have received this fax several times with different dates, but the fax is always the same.  E-mail is edwardjohnson0002@yahoo.com.  I wonder if yahoo realizes he is using their site to try to scam people?  DO NOT RESPOND.

I got that same email! Dad's birthday party to be exact. I kept asking for his number but never gave it to me. When I first got the fax I was like oh man big order. Then I emailed him and he was very sketchy and mysterious.

Same thing like the others regarding the "big restaurant order deal" .The scam started initially by calling to restaurants, then it continued by faxing. Just waste of paper...DO NOT RESPOND. I am wandering though why authorities do not investigate these scams and make some arrests...
