This person answered my Craigslist ad that I posted with a number to call, 818-468-7983.  Of course, I called the number but all I got was voicemail.  Now half an hour later I'm receiving multiple texts to my cellphone, something about a $33 a day commission plan ??? nothing related to my ad.  How do I stop this scammer?

...wha? Ignoring the libel vs slander thing which is just a pet peeve of mine, what exactly are you trying to say? Also ignoring the carbon copy to the "FBI's privacy violation [team?]" because LULz, it would seem this number belongs to a "E-Business Professional"  who claims he invented [parts of] the Internet.  So...your complaint is...what, exactly? ("Ooops, you caught me now stop tattling," perhaps?)

I'm sorry you didn't like what someone said their experience with you was, but your over-the-top replies here and on other sites (as it appears others have had similar experiences with you reported elsewhere) don't speak well to you or your "company/website."

This guy's a piece of work!  His website says he's a "renowned personal injury attorney", but according to the California Bar Association, he was disbarred in 2011 by order of the California Supreme Court:

The briefs are interesting reading.  Looks like he had a 40-year track record of excellence and even honors from the State of California, and then something snapped.  Now he's working as a "professional magician" and talking smack on message boards.  Pretty high up there on the wierd-o-meter!

I've been receiving calls from the 818-468-(numbers here differ every time) for a year now. First I thought it was some frustrated neighbor, but then it kept on going and changing the last four numbers from: 2654 to 7342, 4552, 7500, and the last one received today 8396. All of these numbers, when you call them, have the same answering system. Clearly some sort of telemarketing, or possibly phone phishing (if this is a concept). I wonder what can be done about this. The case here is that the offending party became a chameleon hiding behind my phone number prefix (my number starts with 468) in order for you to answer it (a number like mine? who is this?). The ass is now cloaking itself behind your own number. Seriously.
I have a question to these idiots: how much money do you make by harassing people, specially when they don't answer your calls? How's it working for ya? Making good profit from cold no-calls?
Here's a business advise: if you cannot find a client, maybe this is not a business for you. We, the customers, are getting very savvy, we'll block you forever, as you spend your money forever trying to profit from a non-business, while harassing good, honest, working people. Get a life, then get a real job.
