- NoraReceived message from these people on my cell which is on do not call list and a call on my work number. Telling me why were taking me to court in SC and that I needed a lawyer. i told them to not call me again. this is a scam. The number is a cell number and I have cell number and they still got my name nad work information. This is not fair. I am tired if these people calling me. If they have information they need to mail me the information. But they dont because they would not be calling from cell phone they would call from land line.
- Scot| 2 repliesMy Girlfiend is also being targeted by these relentless scammers. They call everyday with some nonsense about this being a "legal matter". We have both told them to contact the courthouse and proceed with any legalities within their rights. We have also contacted local law enforcement to report them. They have told us that they are likely calling from a 'Magic Jack' equipped phone. Do not send them any money, as this is a TOTAL scam.

- Nora replies to Scotthis is stupid. The scammers must think we are stupid. I have been scammed before and I will not be scammed again. I am tired of people getting my number after it is put on the do not call this. I changed to a new number and they are still getting the new number. This number is not on any bills. ANd I know who I owe. Already talked to attorney and he told me that this is a scam when you request information on line for insurance, school or anything. I have not been on line for anything except at work and only on our swite which they cannot get on. I told them not to call me again.
- JoanneI have been getting the same call. Thank You for all your remarks. They were calling for my brother on my phone. He is no where around here at this time. They were threatening me on my phone. Thanks Again,

- PhayI feel soo much better now. I almost followed the instructions. I do have a loan out but it didn't make since, The so called Lawyer's assistant who, by the way, his name was Bryan King" He had the thickest Indian Accent! told me that the Loan company had been trying to take the money out of my account Three time.. in which this was not true..and that If I didn't pay them the fees they would send the police out to my home and arrest me! They had me going..I heard Jail and "being found guilty" and I was ready to give my soul to the Devil...thank God I talked to my friend.. It didn't make since to Him so he did some investigating and found this site..I dodge another bullet with this one...I almost wanna call them back and scare the living daylights out of them..looking back at the conversation, I should have known it was a scam..1st off people owe on loans everyday and they are never "taken to jail. 2nd He kept asking me if I had an Attorney.. and then I believe I was the one who mentioned the loan..and he was basically agreeing with me. 3rd I should have told them to send me the info first then we will see. I feel soo stupid..thank God I have friends who are smarter them me.

- Resident47This sounds like yet another fake payday loan collector calling from overseas. Their threats are empty and their rude tactics are illegal under federal law, the FDCPA. Do not argue with them, do not comply with their demands. Show them you know you have rights they are trampling.
Try demanding a mailing address or a full business name. If the caller fudges his answer or you cannot verify it, it's likely a PDL sham. Challenge their horse puckey threats; they often make rude remarks and hang up. As the bullies like to hassle people at workplaces, advise your employers and coworkers these calls are garbage.
The usual response to such a runaway debt collector stateside is to send a cease-comm letter and file suit. If you find a valid US address, please do so. Fierce consumer lawyers will leap at the chance to run such a case on contingency. However, being mostly outside U.S. borders and having no discernable addresses, these particular criminals rarely make it possible for individuals to punish them. Submit complaints to the FTC and attorneys general. Pester anyone with proper authority until this fraud is investigated and smashed.

- TriciaCalls from this number started coming into our offices, and people calling from this number would ask for a certain person who works at my firm who said he didn't know anything about it. Although at first it sounded legitimate, when I tried calling this number back several times I only kept getting a busy signal. The person who called most said her name was Sandra Williams, with such a thick accent that she was really stupid to believe anyone would accept she had such a simple American name, and the name of the "agency" she was calling from was "Sanders & Legal Associates." She kept calling for this person who works in our firm, even after I told her I wouldn't put her through or take a message and asked her repeatedly to stop calling, and then said I was reporting this number to the FCC. If you get a call from this number, hang up as many times as it takes to get rid of them, since she finally stopped calling; it's fraud and they can't do anything to you.

- NeshaI'm literally wiping the sweat from my head. I received a phone call from these phonies today, and I must admit they had me going for a minute. Some guy with an extremely thick Indian accent said that he was calling from some bogus law firm and that they were notifying me of a lawsuit against me regarding fraud. Immediately I went in to panic mode because I have never done anything regarding fraud and figured their must be some mistake. Long story short the more he spoke the more it sounded like something not legit. These people are scammers and have nothing to do with themselves. Sad!

- JennyI just got a call from these people and they had me so scared... I thought I had something out there outstanding. I ask for them to provide documation on what I owned and he said I am working to help you, I will send you a confirmation letter once it is paid first. They won't provide no letters of outstanding balances. I am glad I call someone to see if this is a scam. I almost gave them my information, thank god! There is a GOD!
