This number was given to me from people running a SCAM trying to sell vehicles of all kinds at ridiculous prices with eBay supposedly handling the transaction with free shipping and five days to inspect purchase before seller gets their money. eBay will not ask you to pay with eBay Cards or Best Buy Cards purchased from your local retail store.

I requested information on an RV listed on Facebook Marketplace for $2000 (red flag #1). A person said he had posted it for his sister (red flag #2) and to send her an email at ellaryskidmore@gmail.com. I did and I received a reply from someone saying her name is Eleanor Skidmore, a sergeant in the Air Force, and is getting rid of the RV because she was very busy with her deployment. I asked for pictures and I received a bunch of pictures of an RV. The person said she is in Billings, Montana (red flag #3 because it was posted in another state) and the RV is at the eBay warehouse... She said she forwarded my information to eBay and I would receive documents from them soon. If I had any questions, their phone number is 818-900-9921. The next day I received an Invoice from "eBay Motors." There was a big red message from gmail saying "This message seems dangerous" (red flag #4). This email said, "The payment method assigned to your transaction is via eBay Cards or Best Buy Cards (red flag #5). The entire thing is a scam!

Did not receive a call, but saw an ad for a very low priced garden /farm tractor on Facebook marketplace, saying to email ellaryskidmore@gmail.com. Sent an email and got a reply back with the same air force story described by Shelley here. Seemed very suspicious so I searched for that email address  online and here we are. “If it’s too good to be true, it probably is!”
