    04/22/2013 3:00 PM. Caller ID said "Unknown name". The salesman, "John", identified the company as "Home Center of Calabasas". When I said that I was on the Do Not Call list he said good-bye and hung up.

    It has been suggested on this site that filing complaints and signing petitions does not work. Well, ranting and raving on a blog site has even less chance of working.

    When I have filed a complaint with the 2nd number (FCC), even though the form takes longer to fill out than for the 1st number (Do Not Call), I have never received another call from the number that I reported.

    I received a call at 5 pm today. I did not recogonize the number so did not answer.
    I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST it seems to be a losing battle.
