I just received the text on my cell phone and when I called back the voice message was static.  3/17/2010 4:30 p.m. Michigan time

I am so glad I looked into this when I first got the text!

Have received 3 messages today, SMS from 1 828-348-6847:@HomeBank.Us. e-banking.......I am in Michigan, like some of you............Scam.

My wife and I, Both got this message. We are also both T-Mobile members.. I did go and fill out the FCC forum. Thanks for letting us know about it.

I got this message. I am also from michigan and T-mobile customer. I called and they were asking my information. I hung up and searched the number online. Thanks guys for posting the information.

My husband and I both received these text messages, shortly after providing the world reserve monetary exchange our credit card #'s for a 2 dollar bill purchase...... coincedence?

I got a text from 18283486847. I called it and they tell you someone stole your credit card put in your card number to verify you are not in India.

I am also a T Mobile customer in Michigan. I have received 2 texts from this number regarding a stolen card in india.

I've received three of these texts. Detroit area & T-Mobile.

I've submitted FCC complaints for each of them. I recommend everyone do the same. It only takes a few minutes. If the Feds catch-up with them, violation of the do-not-call list is something like a $16,000 fine per incident.

Also, if you have to pay for texts, call T-mobile and let them know they are spam. They can't credit your account until your billing cycle ends, but they'll make a note of it in your file. I'm not paying $.60 because of these jerks.

Considering calling the police department in NC tomorrow.

I love this site. I always look up unknown numbers here. ^_^ I am from Michigan, received this text moments ago and knew something fishy was going on... Considering I currently don't have a bank account... I'll be sure to pass the message along to friends and family to warm them.

Same story as everyone else but this has been going on for days with me (tmobile, in MI)

I wonder does tmobile have anything to do with this

I've gotten that message several times over the last several days. I called it and it says that there has been a request for my banking info from an IP address in India and they want my credit card number and other info to be sure that my account has not been broken into. I hung up and am calling my bank tomorrow. It smells an awful lot like a fish that's been dead for at least a week to me.

I received 3 texts in the last 2 days, my wife has gotten at least 2.  T-Mobile is giving me a load of crap "not to worry about it, just do not respond".  Great, but what if one of my kids gets curious?  Seems like T-Mobile would be interested in the security aspect of this  :- (

And security 3 digits 111... I was hoping that I could talk to the real [***],but the cowards hired a robot .
So I text them a piece of my nasty mind....

I called and they ask me to enter my 16 digit credit card number to check who was trying to steal it. Of course I laughed too loud in my room.

Got the same message glad i found this site I was really confused wheni got the message and it seems we are all getting them at the same time of day
