Scammer robocall ("Ken Daugherty") to number on do not call list.

Called my landline.  I did not answer- of course - and they left no message.  CID states Claremont NC.  Just of one many unsolicited calls!

caller ID "NPF" left no message. Blocked!

just called again NPF, using different number 336-842-2991!

this number called my landline, left not message.

I call back after business hours (using *67 to block my number).

Their outgoing message appears to be a pretty good computer generated male voice.  I hear, "Hello.  None of our representatives are available right now.  If you received a call from this number, we should contact you within the next day.  If you believe you received this call by error, please, press 1 to be added to our Do-Not-Call list." (I never do this as it can actually make things worse)  Note the failure to identify themselves.  A computer generated voice makes me doubt their skill with English.

So they spoof their caller ID, and fail to identify themselves. Smells like a SCAM.

10:29 am this morning.  One ring and gone thanks to my robo blocking service.

fake charity, asking to support wounded or killed police officers, when I told him to mail me info I give nothing over phone  he went into this  thing about postage being too expensive,   . I hung up

"Ken Dougherty" robocall, something about patrolmen. Bye

Received a call from this number.  NPF was on the caller ID.  My husband answered just to annoy them.  He asked what their company was.  They said, "National Patrolman's Foundation."  SCAM!!!!  Blocking it right now.

At 7:53pm on 8/25/2016 Caller ID was NPF 548-6756, I answered on the second ring, I said hello, nothing but air on the other side and I waited 20 seconds. I hung up and dialed the number back and all I got was a recording: None of our representatives are available right now.  If you received a call from this number, we should contact you within the next day.  If you believe you received this call by error, please, press 1 to be added to our Do-Not-Call list.: I have no ideal as to whom or what it was but I went ahead and pressed 1, ten minutes later at 8:03pm I received another call, Caller ID was unavailable,  from number 1-512-298-3070, humans on the other line, alot of noise on the other end sounded like a whole lot of telecommunicators and speaking foreign language until I told them to put me on the do not call list, then in english he says okay wrong number....

Police Benevolent Fund... or something like that, as the guy Talks I use my other phone and call the number, displayed.. all reps are busy yada yada yada.. I tell the guy i belong to the California State Sheriffs Association (which is the truth) and click, hangup on me!

No message. Right after got call that said out of area.

A recording (pausing in all the right places to sound real) for some policemen's benefit fund - "Ken" is purportedly calling from North Carolina on behalf of my local police, but 1) I live in Virginia and 2) that's the most New Yawk accent I've ever heard from "North Carolina.
