I pick up and say "no phone calls from North Carolina please" and hang up

Just hang up even if the call is Automated asking you to press any number keys for you to be removed from the call list DO NOT Press any
number keys on your phone or these callers or other scammers will be handed your phone number and then you will be
getting other callers,

DO NOT give them banking information
DO NOT give them your social security numbers
DO NOT give them any credit cards information
If you already have you will need to call the places that you gave the caller the information
this caller is a scam and is looking for as much information as they can.

I picked up this call without first checking caller ID (oops).  Caller: "This is Anna Wilson, how are you doing today?" I hung up.

Caller sounded liveish.. but it probably was a robo call that had pauses in it to simulate a real person.. asking for support for American Autism .. I wasn't really listening ."Insert sob story here". I hung up when they asked to send us mail to send them a donation.. This is probably a scam don't give them anything or believe anything they say.. donate through legit vetted charities not this over the phone BS..

Call was automatically blocked as a robo caller. CID: AAGA. The number has a privacy block on it, preventing anyone from knowing the true identity of the caller or to be able to return the call. Scammers!!

I checked caller ID.  I didn't answer, they left no message.  I blocked the number.

Autism scammers. Yesterday, Breast Cancer scammers call. I answered. Woman was attempting to be jolly. I shouted so loud must have broke her eardrum. Do these jerks actually think we'll give personal info to those we don't know??
Unfortunately, some people do. I warn elderly in our family and neighbors... Too many people get ripped off as is.

Called again, this time CID: Autism Awareness. Scammers!! Beware!!

Autism Awareness .... Scam.  I've blocked their number but I can see on my display readout that they keep calling.  They'll eventually give up and stop.  I keep a list of the telemarketers that call, and so far the list has over 600 numbers, and they all eventually stop calling after I block their numbers.  Some are very persistent and have called over 20 times before giving up.

Unknown number, no voicemail left.

I was text by the same # this morning. They said good morning handsome.  Yeah....didn't respond

I received a call from Claremont NC. It was a lady with a very heavy accent. I said not interested and hung up. She immediately called back and went I voicemail. She said company name is Freedom Financial and she was calling about debt consolidation I was interested in. There is not a financial debt consolidation company in Claremont NC and I never inquired about such. So they have apparently switched from autism awareness to debt consolidation. Typical around tax season.
