This number called our business today at 0903.  Caller ID said "Claremont NC" so I knew it was likely a scam artist.  The illegal idiot-message was already droning on as I picked up the receiver, rambling on about credit card processing fees, yadda, yadda, yadda.  Apparently this merchant services angle is the newest page in the scam artist playbook.  This same number has apparently also tried hawking business "loans."  I guess they can't decide what their business is supposed to be about.  For the heck of it, I blocked my number and called the number back.  A generic recorder informed me that no one is available right now (big surprise) but I can press 1 to be added to their do-not-call list.  So even in their recording they don't identify an actual company.  Can you get any shadier than that??  Oh, sure I'll give you folks my credit card processing business, which would include access to our bank account!  Why wouldn't I trust a company with no name who uses idiot-messages that are in violation of FCC requirements?  What could possibly go wrong with that arrangement?  <typed with dripping sarcasm>

Of course no one is available, you are NOT a REAL business!!!

This number called the office this morning before hours. There was a message waiting, albeit partially cut off, from a robo-caller talking about lower rates for credit card processing.

Voicemail about CC processor not passing along savings. This isn't a business # and I don't accept CC's.  Blocked.

Sounds like a merch card thingy. Blocked!

Thanks to all who post here.  @#$% scammer have no idea what the working world does and how much time they suck out of productive lives.

Message already blaring in my ear about "Attention Manufacturing Companies!!!..."  Hung up and now blocked.

They called and when I answered there was no response just silence on the phone.

Received a call to my business, but no message was left.  If "they" don't care enough to leave a message as to what "they" want,  that tells me it is not worthwhile to answer.

I just got the same call... On the Caller ID it says Claremont NC and it came through at 2:40pm.  Same automated male voice about Merchant card services... ANNOYING.  I blocked the call and reported to FTC... along with all the other non-stop calls from scammers and telemarketers...  EVENTHOUGH we are on the National Do Not Call Registry.... :(

Another day for these master spammers,spoofers and cloners! This spam/spoof factory-Inteliquent/Tandem C.O seems to be going strong regardless of the hundreds of complains submitted daily.They call our bussines lines all the time,laughing and then hanging up when answered!They will be reported to FCC for electronic communications harassment.
