caller ID reads "UBC" - no message left - now blocked!

4 rings.  No message = block.

Called and said my name, but did not sound like a person so I said Hello again... It repeated my name in the same way so I said Hello again.. after the 3rd repeat of my name the same way I hung up.

Calls frequently, mostly in the evenings. Rings 4 times, never leaves voicemail. Reported.

I didn't answer call.

A person called, saying her name was Alice and made a "funny" joke about her son joining a band. Then she said that she was calling from a Cancer foundation.

Asked if I had received an envelope. She sounded like a recording, but when she finished talking, I stayed silent. Ahe actually said "hello? Hello? Are you there? (My name) are you there?

I hissed into the phone and hung up.

CID said "UBC." The same scam charity that keeps calling from different numbers. When they are blocked, they just call from another number.

Same as above. Fake charity to phone beggars call in evening. Blocked while ringing.

These persistent unsolicited callers, apparently trying to pass themselves off as a legitimate cancer charity, have been trying to get me to pick up the phone for a year or more.  They apparently hire local telemarketers with wireless numbers to try too.  Calls have come from area codes 281, 254, 325, 830, 682.  If you don't pick up the phone for one of these numbers, they will call you from another.   I probably have blocked 30-40 of these numbers so far.

Robocaller ~ do not answer

This UBC or United Breast Cancer Association.  They have many numbers.  They will aggravate you to death!
