Caller ID showed UBC. This call originates from a tiny town, LaVernia, Tx.  Have received many calls from various forms of the number 830-217-13xx and various caller ID. I believe it to be some kind of scam to collect money by pretending to be some sort of cancer charity.

Another scam call.  They used area code 682 before

I have received a lot of calls with UBC on caller ID.. Never answer them and always block the number they are using at that point.

Just received a call from 830-217-1383 and answered because was expecting a call back from contractor with same area code.  So mad....An elderly woman's voice said my name and i said yes, then realized it wasn't who i thought so i hung up!!!!!

Have received calls from this number as well as 682-243-1876 and 830-217-1376 looking for charity from an elderly lady. We told her no, but she keeps calling back like 4 times a day. Reported all the numbers to FTC so hoping to stop soon.

I didn't answer call.

Just screened & blocked this number

Robocall at 815PM Friday. Elderly sounding recorded female voice said "William?" I said "wrong number." The recording then said, "well, we're calling everyone in the area so maybe you can help us." I hung up.  I have heard it before. It's a phony cancer scam.

Our office continues to get calls from this number and won’t identify herself but wants to thank our boss (I won’t use her name) for her pledge.

Called this morning. Did not answer because did not recognize the telephone #.
