Automated message said they were going to block my social security number if I didn't call back right away. then told me to have a blessed day. Another Scam

I just got the same call on my cell, they added my driver's license to the block too.  scam clowns.

I forgot that part about drivers license and about an hour later I got the same call again from the same number

Yep just got a call about my social security number & legal action is being taken against me. This is sooo stupid!

Stated some used my social security number and call back before legal action is taken.

The caller claims to be Department of Social Security.  There is no such thing of course.  I guess  if you are stupid enough, they really want to talk to you.

Same thing, Social Security Office, Fraud with your SSN, Legal Action, Better call beck right away, blah blah blah. Sure, yea, right

Scam about charges filed on my SS#.  This was the call back number that was left.  Actually called from 832-548-4960

Called and said my ss# had fraudulent activity call back at 8322242958 before legal action is taken.
I have blocked the number and they still leave messages. Getting old

My parents Nancy and Leon Daniel have had 200 dollars taken out of their account in June 2025 and again in Sept 2025. I believe it to be a scam, my mom has memory issues and is being targeted because she cannot tell that someone is trying to steal her money. Jodi, this is not the place to be trying to do that.
You need to report the crime to the Police, and then take a copy of the filed report to the Bank or Credit Union where your parents have their account and report it to them.  They may be able to reverse the transfers and will be able to stop any future ones.
As to stopping the calls, contact your parents phone company, they may be able to place a block on calls from that number.  Otherwise block the number on their phones, that will at least stop the call from ringing the phone but will not stop voicemails from being left.  If they have a landline, invest in a ball blocking device that will stop the first ring (before the Caller ID information that is used to filter the calls arrives) so they will not notice that the blocked call came in.

Putting your personal phone number here is asking for trouble, I am asking the Moderators to redact it.
