The caller alleged he is from an attorney's office. Bad lier. Didn't even sound like the truth.

When you call the number back it is a bad number! Attorneys don't call debt collectors. They sent a letter regarding the debt giving you a chance to dispute it then they take you to court. This is a scam!

I looked them up @ JonthanCFrank.com they are based out of Texas and have a A rating with the BBB its a litigation firm and I learned that the hard way.

So is this number real or scam

its funny how when you google the number however, all that comes up is pages leading to the number being a scam instead of their 'law office'

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

This number has sent me a text message saying my payment places on file has not cleared please contact our office immediately to speak with a non-attorney rep at JCF & Associates 1-832-224-5637 your account number is _____ . Well the thing is I have not paid on any debt here recently. If I had I would have paid it with a money order so This is a SCAM! , but now there Texting.

Just received a text message stating that my payment that was placed on file did not clear to please contact their office to speak with a non-attorney representative at JCF & Associates.  I have no idea who these people are.  Since when does any legitimate bill collector or attorney's office text message a supposed debtor?  Wow...

Got a phone call message saying, if your not Diane*****, then hang up immediately. Really how does one hang up when there leaving a message on a voice mail. He then says for her, my Twin, to call with her Social Security number to get info on the lawsuit she has to pay..she has no lawsuit. The voice is a deep gruff man!

They called my mother looking for me. They have all upset .. I'm highly pissed
