LV Receptionist TIA timeshare resale pitch.

caller said his name was Dave. he wanted to know if i wanted to sell my timeshare and asked how many points I had, whether or not I dealt with RCI, which State I purchased the timeshre in, and asked for more information than I am going to give a stranger, I asked him if I could have his # so I could get back with him in a couple of days and he said it would be someone else I would be talking to at 832-377-3311.

They called Wednesday and my wife told them No Up Front costs and we could talk.  Called back today and the guy was a real a --hole.  Told me if I would listen, I might learn something.  Told him to listen to me hanging up and see what he learned.  He called back!  Said he had me on speaker phone and the whole office was listening,  I said great.  Now they ALL know you can't do your job.  No Upfront Costs,  However, the do want a 10% deposit to prove you own the property.  If I don't own it JackWagon Why are you calling me?

These people are definitely a rip-off.  They say they do not list, but only sell timeshares and that they have a buyer already to buy your timeshare points at a very good price.  They already have the money in escrow  and the buyer will pay all costs of the sale.  You have to show good faith by depositing money that they will return to you at closing.  I am reporting them to the FTC soon.  I hope all of you will do the same.

Agree with all the posts.  These guys are real parasites, but VERY, VERY good at what they do.
To bad they can't use all that energy for the betterment of the industry.

They have disappeared off the radar at 832-377-3311, but like a bad penny, I'm sure they'll crop up, ready to do what they do best ...... Lie & Cheat.

It's sad that people of this calibre can only hurt the un-suspected.
