Said he lived close to me and wanted me to do a photo shoot of his family reunion. Had really weird excuses about why he couldn't pay by check or credit card. I finally felt "fished" and told him I wasn't interested in his business. I think he is bored and surfs the Internet for people to call.

Same thing happened to me just now... I googled is number after he asked me what bank I banked with! Said his name was Kelvin R. he started out by emailing me and then held on a conversation via text. Said he couldn't' talk to me cause his throat hurt. Then said he couldn't do Paypal cause it's too complicated for him and then said my credit card provider screwed them out of 7k and then asked me which bank I banked with. That made me google his number. What a jerk!

Same this JUST happened to me too. He asked me to do a family reunion photoshoot and he could only pay via credit card.  I was following along because he wasn't fishing for my personal information. What made it weird for my husband and I was when he asked me to charge an additional $2000 on top of my charge for the shoot.  He also wouldn't answer my questions about where exactly the shoot was and how he had heard about me. I googled his number and bam... There it is. This was definitely the smoothest scammer I've ever run across.  I'll be taking his info to the police tomorrow.

Hi! I think I'm talking to the scammer who scammed you guys. Says his name is Dr. Kelvin Revils and that he's a medical officer with the U. S. Army Reserve, but lives in Highlands, TX. Has a Boston phone number 978-773-3140. I was just applying for an office job post I found on CL.
