It's Houston Methodist. Left a voicemail and it's automated, saying to return a phone call at a different number.

Yep, Automated call from Houston Methodist where my DR practices.  Left instructions to call 844 755 1418 and provide reference number ######.  I called the 844 number and it is their main Customer Service number which as you might imagine has an infinite wait.  I waited a while, then hung up.  If they initiate the communication, they should have a call back number that is answered.  I don't even know what their initial call was about.  Terrible customer service if you ask me.

It’s a scam. Shows Methodist Hospital but it’s not. It’s a scam trying to get you to pay them for services you don’t owe anything for. They hacked Methodist hospital records because Methodist doesn’t have proper security in place to protect your privacy. Instead they have Caseworkers that lie about your loved ones to the state and the police and state officials end up at your door. Don’t call back and don’t press any numbers as this will only confirm to the scammers and hackers that they have a live person.
