Got a call a few minutes ago from "Jack", who has a South Asian accent, who asked addressed me by name. Said his was with Houston Financial.  Call blocked him before he could continue with his spiel.

Called left no message so a scam

I did not answer and they left no message. If you don’t leave a message then it’s not important.

Called at 2:11 p.m., left no message. Bloocked them.

Called and left no message.  I called back as it's local and got voice mail for Steven and hung up.  If they're calling enough people to be on 800notes, they're likely up to no good.

Called 3 times today, no message left.  Phone showed "Scam Likely" so didn't pick up

Who is it from?

Total Scammer.  Missouri City is a racist den of fraudsters anyway.

Got a call from this number.   The caller did not leave a message, so I opt to believe the caller is all about the Spam.

Called and hung up so I called back.  Said they were Houston Financial and wanted to reduce my mortgage but I don't have a mortgage.  Very thick accent and it is a scam call.  Reminds me of the Sammy Araya ring of people who scammed people with fake mortgage reductions, kept the money and they lost their homes.

Trying to sell home loans for which I did not apply.  Listened to the spiel, hung up when they wanted me to verify my SSN.  They have a lot of info about my house; where'd they buy that info?  [***] SCAM.

Called saying SO & I were looking for info on home loans.  They have info on house, but wanted me to provide SSN to verify.  TOTAL SCAM.

Already had this number blocked. This time it went strait to VM. I could only hear background conversation in a different language. Perhaps India. Block this number.

Got same call, called back and got a message saying it was Steven from Houston Home Loan. No last name, I looked up Houston Home Loan and from what I can tell no Steven works there, pluss he had no NMLS number on his VM which is required if he was a legitimate loan officer, scam for sure

This is a scam, the caller says he is Steven from Houston Home Loan and asked if I pay a mortgage with a very strong accent.  I am actually a licensed loan officer so this sounded very strange from the get go. No last name, no NMLS# disclosed, nothing other than Steven from Houston Home Loan wanting to know if I am paying a mortgage. I asked him for his NMLS number he said sure hold on, put me on hold then came back and gave me a 8 digit number 83252922, I am pretty certain NMLS numbers don't go any higher than 6 maybe 7, so I checked the federal registry and sure enough, fake number. Total Scammer
