I have received many calls within the last 2 days from various numbers with different area codes....this number is one of them.  They never leave a message and I have no idea who it is.

Same here Annette, probably a marketing or collection company.

DO NOT ANSWER THESE UNKNOWN NUMBERS!!!! I learned my lesson big time! What they do is bait you in to call them back. Somehow they get your personal information--even if you don't speak to them--and before you know it, your bank or credit card has some bogus charges on it. I was ripped off for almost $700.00 over the holiday shopping season. My bank was pretty good about it though because I never purchase anything from Wal-Mart's website. I only shop at that place (physically-not electronically) when I'm visiting my friend in the small town he lives in to go grocery shopping. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK! BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY!

I've been on someone's list for a couple of months, at least 20 calls, each from a different phone number, most originating in TX. They are robot voices "This call is Only for [fill in a name]" and goes into a credit default speal.
Totally spam and phishing.

Similar to the others. Phishing call for information.
Like other posters have said, if you do not recognize the number do not answer it.
If you have to answer it, such as a business phone, just hang up.

Its a collection service, threatens legal action and the need to be contacted by you or your attorney
