These people called my house at 10:15pm. Since I no longer answer it went to fax plus I don't have anything to do with Conroe School District.
These people are not trying to sell anything, they just want to verify that your number is real and working. Working numbers are then re sold to other scammers. If you have a machine thats answers, it's a live number.

please don't jump on a conclution this is an energy conservation program they receiving application for a govt grant. just listen if you not interested say "NO". THEY DON'T HIT YOU. ANY WAY THEY GOT YOUR NUMBER THEY CALLED.

Rec'd a call from this number and they wanted to setup an appointment for their agent but when I said that I wanted to do an internet research on the company she hung up.

Received a call from this number she was a woman who sounded kind of young. She gave me a briefed survey and then she told me that I had qualified for an Energy Saving Grant from the U.S. Government then I asked if they had a website which she said no and she also told me that they did not have a call back phone number. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

Received a call from this number.  They want to come to my home to do an energy assessment.  I expressed that I was not interested and to please remove my number from their call list.  I was then threatened by a man who told me that he knew where I lived.  My daughter called a policeman friend.  He told her to tell me to wait for them to call again and then file a police report.  I was told to keep accurated records of the calls.

Like so many others these days, if I'm fool enough to answer, they have hung up or do so almost immediately.  Some times I hear "call room" sounds in the background.  They probably handle several solicitors, hence the Conroe ISD caller ID, when they called representing another org.  

My phone co. has a blacklist, which is where this number is headed.  We are on the no call list - a lot of funking good that's done.  I really like the reverse prank call gag, (like the morgue one.)  I'm thinking maybe, "You're the 17th caller - say the magic word to win $1000."

Wow, that's terrible, all the way around.  
Wish te police could be more proactive or have a division the regulates this kind of thing.  
I know it's sounds cruel, but I'd consider keeping a whistle by the phone and if you are threatened again, blow it very loudly into the phone.  
These folks may have your location, and if your in the book, who doesn't, but, they also have been trained to "close" and will resort to anything to do so.  I doubt, at near or just above minimum wage, they have the time or inclination to come to your home.  
If the whistles to much and they threaten you again, you can tell them the police have setup a reverse trace on the line and the cops, now know where they are.

Some idiotic moron from this place called and started his spiel. I gave it (using the word "him" is too good) my usual response that it just called a business, and it said "F*** you*. These creatures are the scum of the earth.

Lady started talking about 'green source energy' ... I interrupted to tell her I was not interested. She was rude and hung up on me. Next time I will just hang up with out being polite! I am on do not call list!

Call from Conroe ISD... Scam

you lie...you said free then I see a request for $5.99

The caller ID said Conroe ISD. I experienced the exact same thing you did. I too said hello twice and got the
"good bye."

Received call today while on the other line. Thanks everyone for reporting this number! I know now to block it!

This caller keeps phoning me at all hours of the day and night\, even though my number is on the do not disturb list.  No mesage ever.
