Supposed to be a "Harris Co. Check Recovery Services." 411.com returns this number to a Yolanda Straughter @ 7100 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX. Called and asked for Yolanda, was put on hold, then shuttled to VM of Ms. Branch. Riiiight.

I received a call from 832-582-8150 ext 22 "Harris County Check Recovery" saying that I had taken out a payday loan from cash advance and that I never paid it off. They had my SSN, check # and the day of the loan. They threatened to call the police that it was a felony because the check was over $500. They sound very real, but it is a total scam, they want a checking account or debit card info over the phone or "I will be arrested".

HOW ARE THEY A SCAM WHEN YOU CAN PAY OLINE ON THERE WEB PAGE U JUST A DEAD BEAT DEBTOR

Any scammer can make a web site look real!!!!! I got a call from them today and I have not writen or paid by check in 10 plus years.. So does that make me a dead beat debtor???? Also here is another number Harris County uses out of NV https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-702-628-9757

There address when you look them up is a apartment complex off of 7100 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX. What kinda business runs a company out of an Apartment ? Total scam called the Harris county district clerks office and they have never heard of them
